"Ugh, I'm so mad you won't let me smoke," Tatiana complained. She sat at my feet, looking at me.

"Nope," I laid down comfortably, "Lawyers don't get high."

"I'm not a lawyer, yet," she pouted.

"But you will be one day, so you gotta practice."

"You used to light up all the time, though."

"That's until I got a job that involves surprise drug tests, even if it is within the family."

"Yea, well, I don't have that job, you do. So why can't I?"

"Girl, if you smoke, you're going to tempt me. I don't need that."

"So can I smoke outside?"

"No," I rolled my eyes.

My phone made a ding sound, indicating I had a text message.

"Who's that?" Tati smirked.

I looked at my phone. Aubrey.

Aubrey: How's your Saturday going?

Me: Wonderful. And yours?

"Oooooh," Tati smirked, "It's pharmacy boy."

I threw a pillow at her before blushing, "His name is Aubrey, by the way."

"Ou la la, now you're correcting me on his name? Are you sure he didn't take you home last week?"

I laughed, "I'm positive."

Aubrey: It's going okay. It'd be better if I saw you.

Me: Oh really?

Aubrey: Yea. Are you free tonight? I'd love to take you out.

I looked up at Tati with a smirk on my face.

"What is it?"

"He wants to take me out tonight."

She smirks, "Where at?"

"I don't know, let me ask him."

Me: Where to?

Aubrey: A carnival. I want to do something a little more fun. What do you say?

I smiled from ear to ear. That was an adorable suggestion. Let me find know he's lowkey a sweetheart.

"Well?" Tati was growing impatient.

"A carnival."

She gasped, "That's so cute!"

"I know, right?"

"You better tell him yes."

"I am, girl."

Me: I say yes. Pick me up at 8?

Aubrey: Anything for you.

"Okay, you are blushing way too hard. I know you like him, you cannot deny that."

I looked up at her, "He just seems way too perfect. That's what's slowing me down. Something has to be wrong."

"Girl, you better stop looking for flaws, and appreciate his fine ass."

I laughed and shook my head, "You truly have issues."

"When will he be here?"

"At 8."

"That's in two hours, we have to get you ready."

"Oh god," I frowned.

"You should wear a romper!" She got up, already going through my closet.
