Saturday night. The guys wanted to throw a little pool party. Why not? My resort style oasis was the perfect setting for one. I turned on the water falls, had the LED lights going. Future, who was also a talented DJ, held down the music. Gelo had the bar set up the way he liked. He was a alcohol connoisseur. Chubbs and Spoons whipped up some burgers and hot dogs on the grill. Of course, the party wouldn't be complete without some bad bitches in the mix. Between all of us, we called up enough of them for a ratio of 5:1. They came in the skimpiest two pieces and one pieces that I've ever seen. Perfect eye candy for the evening.

I sat back in a lounge chair by the pools edge, watching my boys have a good time. Ryan had three chicks with him in the hot tub. One of their heads disappeared underwater for a good minute. Mark had walked off with some Asian chick about thirty minutes ago. CJ had a bad brown one in his lap. Chubbs and OB had two dancing on them to Future's blend of hip hop favorites.

For some reason, I didn't feel like having bitches hanging all over me tonight. I had them here for my boys. They looked at me awkwardly when I would shoo them away even after their very tempted advances. It used to amaze me how easy these women were. Just because of who I was, they were willing to do whatever I asked them to; hopeful that I would wife them and take care of them the way they wanted. Not a chance. I would never wife a hoe. Ever.

Lisedi kept crossing my mind. I wondered why. Maybe because she was gorgeous and damn near took my breath away every time I saw her. Maybe because the two times we've been out together, its felt like we've known each other for forever. Maybe it's because the way she kissed me drove me fucking crazy. Maybe its because she was playing hard to get and didn't let me fuck her on the first try.

Hell naw, Aubrey. It's because you're supposed to be getting this shit taken care of so you can get your homeboy out of the fucked up situation he's in. Get that bitch to write the damn bond for him. What can I say? My best friend Ethan missed his court date for a charge he got a year ago for fighting at a club. Other than that his record is clean, he just had a hot head that night. I know this is your thing, can you help him out for me? He's missing out on work and he has to provide for his family. Please?

That's it. Turn on the charm. Smile at her. Stroke her chin. She's in the palm of my hand now. She'll go for it. He has no drug related charges, so she won't have a clue. Yeah, the bitch she apprehended last week dropped Ethan's name but that's all she had, a first name. There's more than one Ethan in Toronto in the system. She wouldn't think anyone associated with me, 'my best friend', would have anything to do with drugs. I'm a businessman. Pharmacy and restaurant owner who does very well for himself. She won't have a clue.

"AG!"

Hearing my name called snapped me out of my thoughts. Chubbs was making his way over to me with two Heinekens in hand.

"What's up with you? Why you over here?" he handed one two me and sat in the next chair, "you straight?"

"I'm cool. Just thinking," I popped the top.

"About what?"

Before I could answer, my phone buzzed on the glass table top positioned between us. He took a glance at it before I could grab it.

Lisedi: I just got home from work. Sorry my response is so late.

Aubrey: you must be tired...

Lisedi: I am :(

Aubrey: I know its a little late but...I really wanna see you again

Lisedi: Like rn?

Aubrey: yeah.

Lisedi: I would like to see you too, but I'm literally fighting my sleep.
