Keith sighed as he sat down. His stomach was beginning to get in his way, his dad talked with the school and came to the agreement to switch to online classes. He rubbed his belly, "You've been getting bigger." He said softly.

Since the pack found out he was pregnant they moved him in, they gave him his own room instead of taking Shiro's. He didn't want to deal with looking at Shiro's things, or smelling him. Lance was his helper with almost everything, despite Keith constantly protesting that he didn't need help. Currently Lance was making him food, mainly steak with veggies on the side. Lance was serious about Keith's nutrition and the nutrition of the baby. This was one of the times he wished Lance was his mate instead of Shiro.

"Why do you care so much?" He asked looking over at Lance from his seat at the island in the kitchen. Lance sighed as he flipped the steak.

"Because, I care about you. And think of it as making up for Shiro being an asshole." Lance replied not looking at Keith. Lance knew Shiro had his reasons for leaving, the war was serious over there, but their father could have easily sent someone else. He was positive it wasn't just cause Shiro was the best fighter, but in part was his relationship with Keith. The packs up there still thought they shouldn't be anywhere close to being lovers. Being allies was as far as they wanted werewolves and vampires to be involved. Shiro was too stupid to think that far as to why he was selected to go fight and lead the pack. He couldn't tell Keith that though, Keith was thick headed and a hot head. If he found out he'd fly out and give the pack leaders a piece of his mind. Now normally he'd be okay with that, but with Keith being pregnant stress would be awful on his body. "Now stop complaining you know you like my cooking." He teases as he plated all of Keith's food. Keith chuckled.

"I do. But I don't need you to do everything." He replied as he began to eat. He would never admit it, but he liked always having Lance by his side. Even though he wanted to do things on his own, Lance always being there when he could barely walk, or he had struggles with eating, or when he was nauseous, or having mood swings, Lance was always there. He paused as he ate. "Lance... Thank you... I don't know if I could ever thank you enough." He said softly.

Lance sighed then sat next to Keith.
"Don't... I'm not doing this for a thank you or anything in return. I'm doing this because I care about you. And I refuse to let you go through this alone." He said looking down at Keith. Keith nodded slowly.

- Somewhere in the forests of England-

Shiro stalked close to a vampire hide out, he excelled massively being a leader. He collected a multitude of scars and wounds in the short months he was here. He hated being far from Keith, barely being able to communicate with him. He sent a few letters with no response. He didn't expect Keith to forgive him, but he at least hoped for an angry letter. He shook his head, 'No focus. We have to check out this house.' He thought to himself. He sighed, who was he kidding, all he could think about was Keith, his smile, his laugh, his funny hair, his eyes. Fuck, he could stare into Keith's eyes all day. The more he tried to remember Keith, the only thing he could remember was the look on his face when he walked out on Keith. Shiro closed his eyes then shook his head, 'focus... Patience yields focus.' he repeated in his head. He glanced at the other wolves along with him. He nodded to them as they closed in, he got the scent of an older turned vampire. He had leads from other packs around the area, he was sure this was one of the vampires hide outs.

Hours later Shiro sat back on the couch in the pack house. He held a written letter in his hand, it was already sealed in an envelope ready to send. Since his first letter he never got a reply, he wasn't even sure Keith got his letters or was even reading them. Soon a lower ranked member sat next to him.

"Oooh is this another letter to your mysterious lover back home?" she asked. Shiro chuckled and nodded. "Why do you keep sending them if you get nothing back?" She asked.
