(Here's some Steve Harrington :))

Steve and Y/N have been best friends for 13 years. Steve is 18 and Y/N is 17, both going to Hawkins high school. Y/N was the sister of Dustin Henderson. They were both so so close, and told each other everything.

Y/N and her brother were at a High school basketball game to see Steve play. A week after the Snow Ball. Dustin just wanted to go to the game to see Nancy. After she danced with him he couldn't stop thinking about her, he sadly knew that she was with Jonathan, he was sad but couldn't do anything to break them apart.

Y/N watched Steve play and couldn't help but smile at how amazing he was playing, she had always enjoyed watching Steve play, he had such a passion for the sport and it made Y/N happy whenever he played. Y/N sat in the front her eyes never leaving Steve, she suddenly snapped out of her thoughts when someone shoved her shoulder. She looked to her side to see Dustin trying to get her attention
"Y/N I know you're in love with Steve and all but please listen to me." He chuckled lightly. Y/N hit his arm "Dustin be quiet!" She scolded. He rolled his eyes "Mike and El just came so I'm going to with them." Y/N nodded and waved him off playfully. Dustin mimicked her with a silly face as he walked away. Y/N chuckled and turned back to the game to see Steve make the winning shot. She cheered along with the rest of the crowd as the buzzer rang calling off the game. Hawkins won 54 to 53.

~time skip~

Y/N waited outside by the gymnasium talking to Nancy. Y/N suddenly felt an arm wrap around her shoulders and she already knew who it was. She turned her head to see a smiley Steve. "You're too cool for us." Y/N said playfully shoving him away. He scoffed, "Oh shush." He said grabbing her waist and pulling her into his side. Nancy smirked and walked away over to Jonathan.

Y/N and Steve have had feelings for eachother for a while. The way they walk down the halls, you wouldn't be able to help but think they were together.

They wanted to be with each other so bad but they didn't think that the other liked them. But today was different, today Steve wanted to tell Y/N how he felt, he was prepared to be let down but wanted to get how he was feeling off his chest.

Steve looked at Y/N and smiled softly "Let's go walk around." He insisted leading her around the dark campus with people running around.

Dustin sneaked up behind the rwo and yelled scaring them both. Y/N screamed while Steve slightly jumped. They both turned around to see a laughing Dustin. They both rolled their eyes and walked away going inside the empty halls.

Y/N continued to mess with Steve's hair every now and them. She ruffled his hair and he grabbed her arm pulling it over his shoulder and grabbed her waist picking her up and tossing her over his shoulder. She shrieked and laughed grabbing onto the back of his shirt for dear life. "Steve!! let me down!!" She laughed. Steve laughed and shook his head running down the hall with her on his shoulders.

After they both got tired they were sitting on the floor with their back against some lockers. "You looked good out there harrington" Y/N said lightly shoving her shoulder against his own. Steve turned to her and smirked "You were checking me out Henderson?" Y/N blushed and shrugged "I'm not gonna lie, you have a nice ass." She laughed turning redder by the second.

Steve laughed along and shook his head. Soon the laughter slowly died off, both of them releasing little giggles here and there. Steve suddenly turned to Y/N with a face covered in seriousness. "Y/N there is something I think you should know." She nodded and looked at him, "Go ahead." Steve nodded "Don't feel obligated to feel the same but Y/N Ikindofhavefeelingsforyou." He mumbled trailing off. Y/N furrowed her brows and shook her head "You what?" She said not understanding what he had said.

He sighed "I like you Y/N! A lot! I like you." He said looking into your eyes and saying that last sentence softly, "I know you don't feel the same it's ok ju-" Y/N covered his mouth softly grinning brightly "Shut up Steve. I like you too, a lot." She said deepening her voice on "A lot" to mimick him. He rolled his eyes but couldn't help the smile forming onto his face. He grabbed her wrist and took her hand off his mouth. "Good so that means I can do this."

Before Y/N could question what he meant, he pressed his lips against hers. She was caught by surprise but it didn't taks her long to catch on and kiss him back. They both pulled away and kept their foreheads pressed against eachother's softly. They both had a funny smile, until Y/N grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him for another kiss.

This kiss didn't last long due to Dustin running in on them "Oh shit, um- oof I'm so sorry- um I'll get going now- BYE!" He said running away giggling cutely, happy to see his sister and Steve together finally.

Steve and Y/N both chuckled breathlessly leaning back against the lockers "That kid" They both mumbled, smiling brightly.
