Halloween

"Mom! Leslie took my mask!"

"No I didn't!"

"Yes You did!"

"Well because you kept hitting me with it!"

"Mom!"

You groaned frustratingly as you heard your children complaining and arguing, and of course they wanted you to get the other in trouble.

"Tell your dad to deal with it!" You yelled from the living room.

"Dad!" Your son Elias yelled.

Your husband Joe was with you in the living room happily watching a movie since the kids were calling you and not him. But as soon as he heard Elias yell for him he groaned. "Really? Had to throw me under the bus?" Joe sighed standing up. You chuckled and took the bowl of popcorn that was previously on Joe's lap and took a couple pieces putting them in your mouth.

"Dad! Elias said he's gonna rip my dress!" Your daughter Leslie yelled.

"Go calm your kids, I'm always the one doing the discipline." You shooed him off, making him chuckle and walk upstairs to where your kids were.

You decided that you wanted to see how Joe was going to take action and stop his kids from fighting. So you went upstairs and went to Leslie's room where Joe and Elias currently were, "Leslie give your brother back his mask." Joe said calmly, Leslie sighing in defeat because she had a soft spot for her dad and handing the Darth Vader mask back to Elias. "But Eli said he was going to rip my dress." Leslie said pointing her finger to Elias. Joe turned to him with his eyebrows raised "Why are you going to rip her dress?" Joe asked, Eli pointing to his mask "Because she wouldn't give it back!" "Because you kept on hitting me with it!" Leslie exclaimed, before Joe put an arm over his daughter to keep her from hitting Elias. "Hey hey hey, okay the situation is over, he has his mask, and your dress isn't ripped. Now you," Joe said turning to Elias and bringing him closer to Leslie, "apologize for hitting your sister." Joe finished, Elias turning to you at the doorway, you signaled for him to do what his dad said and he sighed. "Leslie I'm sorry for hitting you with my mask." Elias mumbled, Joe turning to Leslie to accept the apology, "It's okay," she mumbled looking down at her feet. 

"Alright now that that's settled you guys ready to go trick or treating?" Joe asked, both his kids nodding in excitement. Joe stood up and turned towards you, sighing playfully and giving you a kiss on the cheek. "Good job." You mumbled to Joe as he wrapped an arm around your waist. "I mean what Can I say? They love me." Joe stated cockily as he looked at his two kids playing around with each other as if there was no fight.

You rolled your eyes and shoved him softly. "Okay kids let's go." You said to Elias and Leslie, or should I say, Darth Vader, and princess Jasmine. They grabbed their baskets and ran down the stairs, waiting by the door patiently.

You and Joe caught up with them and the four of you left the house, getting ready for a fun night of trick or treating.

After about 2 hours you felt as if you hear the words "trick or treat" one more time you might throw up.

"Mom, Dad look our baskets are full!" Leslie exclaimed as the four of you made your way inside your home. "I know! Don't eat it all tonight or you'll get a stomach ache." You said as everyone went to the dining table so Leslie and Elias Can trade whatever candies they wanted. 

"Can I have that butterscotch?"

"Only if you give me that twix"

"Deal"

Elias and Leslie traded back and forth, as you sat on Joe's lap the both of you watching the trade take place. Joe's phone began to ring from his pocket and took it out, seeing it Finn. "Hello?" He answered the phone. You waited until he finished the call to see what it's about. "Yeah for sure. Okay see you in a bit." Joe said hanging up the call. "Who was that?" Elias asked looking towards Joe. "It was Finn, he said he bought you guys a big bag of candy so he's gonna bring it over." Joe said, making you sigh with a chuckle knowing that your kids were going to be hyper for days. "Yay!" Both kids exclaimed excitedly.

The kids finally got what they wanted from each other, and we're now waiting for Finn to come with their big bag of candy.

In the meantime the family was watching nightmare before Christmas. The four of you cuddled under a blanket, watching the festive movie, that was until there was a knock on the door. Both kids scrambled off their parents and to the front door. Both you and Joe got up and went to the front door, Joe opened the door and revealed Finn with a bag full of candy. "Hey guys." Finn said cheerfully, the family of four smiling and greeting him back.

Joe allowed him inside and gave him a hug. "I-is that for us?" Elias asked Finn pointing the bag. "Yes it is, here. Make sure you share with Leslie and your parents." Finn instructed, both the kids nodding and saying their thank you's before running off to sort it out. "How've you been?" You asked Finn. You found it crazy, you knew Finn since they even started filming season 1 of Stranger Things, and now the show was wrapped and Joe had a family, while Finn grew up making more movies. He was now 18, and it was crazy to think that you knew him for 6 years already.

"Pretty good, I'm actually on my way to the airport I have a press conference in Florida, but I came to wish you guys a happy Halloween and brought the kids candy." He said, Joe smiling and patting his back. "Thanks man, we won't keep you too long, we know you got a flight to catch. Be safe see you soon." Joe said, both him and Finn hugging. "Thanks guys see you." He said hugging you as well and saying bye to the kids. "Bye finn!" The kids waved before Finn left to the airport.

It was now time for bed. The family ate candy and watched movies, but now they were brushing their teeth and getting into Pj's "goodnight Les, love you." You said softly kissing Your daughter's head. "Night momma." Leslie yawned, Joe went up to her and kissed her goodnight as well. The both of you said good night to Elias and went to your guys' bedroom.

"Another year down." You sighed as you plopped into bed. Joe laughed and laid down beside you, bringing you close to him. "Now we have Christmas." He said, making you groan and hide your face in his neck. "Don't remind me." You mumbled, cuddling into him.

The both you shared a couple kisses and laughs before going to sleep.
