Christmas day

I feel like I'm low key pressured to make a new imagine 😂 so here you go.

December 25

The day for cheers, presents, family, and love.

A happy day for everyone.

Today was your first Christmas with your boyfriend Joe's family.

Let's just say you were quite nervous.

You didn't want to fuck up the day of happiness, everyone's favorite day of the year.

You didn't sleep much last night, it was too cold, no matter how many blankets, and no matter how close Joe was holding you. You just couldn't seem to warm up.

You managed to sleep for about two hours and woke up to a pile of blankets on top of you, and arms wrapped around your waist.

You rolled over and see Joe, awake, and smiling.

"Good morning." He said happily, placing a kiss onto your nose.

You smiled and kissed his lips tenderly, "good morning" you sighed happily as you stuffed your face in Joe's neck.

He held you tight inside his childhood room, filled with posters, games, and books.

"Merry Christmas." He whispered in your ear and kissed your cold pink temple.

You smiled and pecked a kiss onto his neck.

"Merry Christmas" you managed to muffle out, he laughed lightly and let go of you rolling onto his back, as you did as well.

You sighed and sat up, then you hear his family downstairs, "I guess we should get up." Joe said, standing up and heading towards the door.

You sat on the bed, and felt your heart slightly begin to race.

Joe looked over at you and smiled. "Hey you're gonna be fine. My family loves you."

You sighed and shrugged "But it's Christmas and I don't want to fuck up this day for them."

He laughed and rolled his eyes "It's impossible to fuck up their Christmas. Seriously they find the good in everything, and it's kind of creepy."

You let out a laugh, as Joe walked over to you, and lifted your face with the tips of his fingers. "There's that beautiful smile. Now come on." He said grabbing your hand and pulling you to your feet.

You smiled and followed Joe out of the door and down the hall.

You guys walk into the living to see his parents, and his sisters around the Christmas tree.

You were immediately met with the smell of coffee and hot chocolate, smiling lightly as the family welcomed you and said their good mornings.

Joe's mom gave you a hug "Good morning sweetie do you want hot chocolate or coffee." She smiled at you.

You asked for (whatever you want.) and she left to the kitchen to make it for you.

You sat down on the couch next to Joe and talked to his sister Kate for a little while until Joe's mom came back with your drink. You thanked her and held the warm mug between your hands.

You took a sip, and Joe's mom announced that it was time for presents.

Joe grabbed a box and handed it to you. As you did as well, handing it to him. He smiled and thanked you, as the rest of his family passed out the first present.

You unwrapped it and gasped softly at what it was. it was (i have no ideas so put whatever you want it to be)

"Oh thank you Joe." You smiled hugging him and placing a kiss on his cheek.

Presents were now over after a while. At least you thought.

"Oh I have one more for Y/N in my room." He said standing up and quickly running to his room, leaving you confused.

He came back from his room and grabbed your hand, standing you up.

"You know how much I love you? It's a lot. and I wouldn't be the same person without you. If you wouldn't have pushed me to audition for Stranger Things, I would have never been here. You're so magnificent and amazing and I don't want a relationship with someone else...just you.. Forever"

With that being said, he lowered himself down to one knee and pulled out a small box, he opened it revealing a beautiful Diamond ring. His sisters gasped, as his parents wore a big smile.

"Will you marry me Y/N"

Tears welled up in your eyes, a smile taking over your whole face, you knew what you wanted to do. And it was to marry him.

"Yes, of course." You said, your voice cracking from the excitement. He sighed from relief and slipped the ring onto your finger, standing up and hugging you, attaching his lips on your own.

His family cheered, and hugged the both of you. "Congratulations you guys." His dad said you both thanked Him, and the rest of his family.

You celebrated Christmas, and this joyous occasion with your fiancé and his family.

Soon you will be saying "I do" to Joseph David Keery.

And it will be the best decision you made in your whole life.
