Then moment we walked in, I felt Lucy's hand tense up. I could tell that she didn't like these stares we were getting, so I took her to a corner where no one really was.
"Are you ok Lucy?" I asked, hoping that she wasn't thinking about our rankings.
"I'm pretty sure you know why I'm not calm Natsu."
Crap! It is because of our rankings! Lucy! You're better than that! I thought, looking around to see if any other Nons or Pops were around.
"Levy! Come over here!" I called out the moment I saw her. She looked over the and her eyes beamed at the sight of us. She ran over to us in her orange dress she had, but not alone.
"I'm glad I wasn't the only one who fell for a Non." Gajeel sighed, relieved. Lucy looked immediately better when she saw Levy.
"Hey Lucy! You having fun?!" Levy shouted over the booming music.
"Now I am! At least I'm not the only Non here with a Pop!" Lucy teased.
"Hey! You technically asked me to come with you!" I teased back.
"No, I told you to ask someone before it was too late. I never said that out had to be me. " She pouted.
"But you wanted... Never mind. There's no point in arguing when you always win." I said, playfully giving up. She smirked, then went with Levy to the concession stand.
"Dude. Look." Gajeel said, pointing at the entrance doors, and sure enough, there were all of the Pops.
