10 {Flying Solo}

"Hiccup, your famous all around the islands. How would I not?" I ask back and he shrugs.

"I guess you got me there." He admitted.

"Nice save." Swift said and I rolled my eyes, luckily Hiccup did not notice.

Hiccup explained on how he shot down Toothless with his wooden contraption. And how he found Toothless, seeing himself in the dragons eyes. He could not kill him so he let Toothless go. Aftet awhile, he tried to befriend Toothless. Soon succeeding while he tried to make a new tail.

I smiled as I listened. My brother is a lucky guy...

"So.... where did you go? I mean... when you left." Hiccup asked, takinv me out of thought.

"Blackwing island." I answer.

"Never heard of it." hiccup said blankly. I just ignored him. "And he is your brother?" Swift asked, crossing his arms. "Half brother." I whisper so Hiccup could not hear.

We continue to fly in seilence, intill he speaks up. "So, this dragon. Tell me about it."

I sigh and take a deep breath before speaking, "It was a Changewing, with the two disks on the sides of its face broken off. It came with an army. A wolf army. The Changewing its self left me a reminder of him." I explain, running my index fingure over my scar.

"A wolfs working for a Changewing? That does not make any sense." Hiccup thought outloud. "Why didnt he kill you to?"

"Hiccup, how would I know? All I know is he killed my mother! He killed my clan! and almost killed me! He took over my home and i wont let that happen! Its either I get back my home or I die trying! With, or without you." I exploded, throwing my arms in the air in surrender.

Swift nudged me, rubbing his head on the side of my face, wrapping his body around my neck like a loose scarf. I petted his horned head and he purred. I cracked a smile as his tail limped on the other side of my neck, the tip slightly moving back an forth.

"He really knows how to calm you down, huh?" Hiccup asked. Drat, forgot he was flying next to me.

"Yeah, he is all I have." I said looking down at Moon's saddle. I hear Moon say a soft. "hey!!" but I choose to ignore it.

"Thats a real dragon connection you know." Hiccup smiled. I looked at Swift, he was still purring, just softly. "Yeah, I know." I whisper.

"Come on, Toothless is itching to do some dives." He smiled and I smiled back. "What do ya say Moon?" I ask and he lifts his head up, shaking a wild YES!

"Lets go then!" I shout, Moon dashing off. Hiccup and Toothless close behind us. "Do you know whats great about having a Terror?" I ask and Hiccup shrugs. "You always have a spot diver." I say and I take my cloak off, latching it to Moon's saddle. I jump off of Moon's Saddle. Swift falling down with me.

I kept falling for awhile intill Swift grabbed onto my back. I heard some clicks, and turns. I open my arms, and I bounce into the air, Swift flying under me. I made this sheet of dragon scales and leather about seven months ago. It is attached to my angles up to my elbow. Also latched to my sword belt by a hook so I can stop in an emergency. (Looks like Hiccups wings from the second movie, just has a little Light touch to it.)

I might look like a flying squirrel right now, but soaring like this is to much fun to show off.

Thats right! I can fly all by myself. I made my own wings!

Swift opens my back flap and I smile. Hiccup, Toothless, and Moon come above us. "When did you make that?!" Hiccup asked, laughing.

"Not everyone needs a dragon to fly. How do you think I made it to all the islands with out Moon?" I ask, smiling.

I started drifting down. "Swift?" I asked, "On it." He replied, standing on my back, grabbing a small hook, flying upward with ease.

"Having a Terror is nice to have huh?" Hiccup asked as Toothless rolled his eyes. "Nope." I smile and Swift lets go of the hook, flying under me once more since we were higher in the air now.

I love having my own soaring wings.

We soon land on an island. I hit the ground hard and tumbled a bit but I was unharmed unlike last time. Swift helped me make my fake soaring wings look as if there not there. I hide alot under my cloak.

"How did you make that?!" Hiccup asked as he dismounted Toothless.

"Dragon scales and leather. They work good together." I explained smiling.

"So, is it hard for Swift to pull you upward?" he asked. "No, the wind mostly carries my weight, Swift just pulls me up so I dont hit water."

"I just dont do it alot because I cant do it with my cloak." I added as I took my cloak off of Moon's saddle and put it back around my shoulders.

"Oh, should we head back?" Hiccup asked. "I am fine here tonight. You should go back though." I said and he looked as if he was about to protest, but got on Toothless anyway, saying goodbye and left to Berk.

"Nice brother you got there." Moon said. "I guess." I shrug and sit down on the ground.

"So, those wings..." Moon's voice trailed off. "Swifts idea. We got tired of sneeking on and off boats." I laughed and so does Swift.

"Okay.... then. I am going fishing now." Moon turned to leave but looked back at me and Swift still laughing.

"Ok, we will wait here, and start a fire." Swift says and Moon walks off into the woods.

"Come on, lets go get some wood." I declared and Swift nodded in agreement.

Hey guys!!!!!

Lets remember this is based on the FIRST MOVIE so Hiccup did not make his own wings yet.

So pretty much, Hiccup got the idea from Light.

Soooooooooo, whats going to happen next?!
