After splitting, I was on my own again. Things weren't so bad except you could make people hallucinate and pretty much almost make them go insane. Like... I don't know, like walk by them I guess. Most times when I walked by the living they seem to have the shivers. Then they're some who just stare at me, while their heads are tilted to the left or right, I never keep track, but very interesting sometimes. I've been here for awhile now, that I'm pretty much no longer surprise anymore. Go figure.

There was this one time I walked by a Coach, and these girls came out. First thing that came to mind was that they were wannabes. Why? Well, how could you miss the hair style like the Kardashians or how there clothes would look just like all the famous celeb's in the world, and no I'm not making this up.

People lately seem to care about nothing in world like somethings didn't matter. People do stupid things, survive those stupid things, but still do some more stupid things. To me, I wouldn't be surprise. They don't seem to know that, you should live your life and not do anything stupid to take away all of it. People just don't realize how precise life is and then again you can't teach everyone, only the ones who listen. But once your life is already taken, how on earth are you suppose to live once your dead. Me, I still have no clue where exactly I am or I'm dead or alive. Still, I need to keep moving. I can't do anything if I'm sitting still.

I wander around the woods right outside the a nearby town I just left. Then I found a tree that had a writing. It said Mary and James forever. It was very nice and all, but my focuse right now was, where in the world am I. I walked out of the woods to see the town again, but this time the town was different. The town had a different, shaded color. The lights are around me was also dimmed. I was confused and began to make my way back to the town. As I walked through it, I did see people, but they were going in slow-mo like someone hit a switch to slow down time. Smoke rose everywhere, but the people seemed not to notice. I looked at my hand and it was more visible than before. Time was running out for me.

I started to run out of town, until I heard a faint whisper. I slowed down to listen, but nothing came. I started to run again and this time the sound was louder. I stopped and looked around. No one was around me, except the living. Then I saw a shadow in the distance in front of me. I knew I shouldn't get close to it, but my curiosity got the better of me. As I inch closer to the shadow, parts of it looked familar to me, like I knew this person. Once I was at reaching distance I saw my dad's face. Tears started flooding to my face.

"No, no," I whispered backing up. The last time I seen his face was when I was about to be pulled into the ground. He reached out with his hand.

"You're safe my child," he said. He gave his smile that always reassured my brother, my sister and me with. I knew I should, but his body looked the same with the hair, face, body, but his color didn't match. He was a shade of gray that I knew wasn't normal. "Come," he said. I looked at his face and saw past him. I backed up, but further this time.

"You're not real," I said. He shook his head.

"Yes I am. Don't you miss me?" Then everything changed. The shadow disperse and a shadow, covered by a cloak, showed. I didn't need no one to tell me anything then, for I knew who the shadow was. I turned to run, but a dark mist surrounded me. My mind race, but a feeling of sercurity surround me. I then lost my fear and turned around. What I saw was something different, something familar. I saw my mom and my dad. That too, I saw my bestfriend waving at me. It felt so right, but I was missing something or actually someone else. My brother and sister. Shocked was the thing that broke me free.

Next thing I knew Dustin was on top of me. I shook my head as he stood.

"Come on," he said reaching down on me. I looked to see the shadow turn to us. It slowly made it's way at us. I took Dustin hand and we both ran.

"Glad you're okay," I told him. He half-smiled.

'You too." Then we saw the dark mist surround us. "Faster," said Dustin. We gain more speed and made it out of the mist. "There is a church right outside the town. We need to get there and fast." I nodded, but as I took another step, something caught my foot. I tumbled, letting go of Dustin's hand. I face planted and lie there for a minute. As I slowly got up, I was eye to eye with a dog. A hell dog, I suppose you might say. Then the dog howled as it disperse back into a mist. Dustin reached down to me, but in his other hand was holding a short, old sword. I took his hand and we ran.

We ran for miles, until the church was in reach. My hope rose as we inch closer. I turned around to see the shadow get further and further away.

"We're almost there," said Dustin. This time I heard a horrible squawk and I made a mistake to turn around to look. The shadow open it's cloak and darkness escaped. They turned into the worst things you can imagine. All the nightmare's of people has been unleashed at us.

"Hurry," said Dustin as he tugged on me. The church was in reach, but the nightmare's were getting close. I heard a growled and as I turned I saw a horrid creature coming down on me. Then came a gun shot and the creature fell a few feet behind me.

"Bull's eye," I heard Shena shout.

"Shut up," said Mikey. He unleash round after round of bullets. We were only yards away from the church's doors.

"Hurry," said Shena. She fired and shot another creature. I heard a rumble from behind and knew a creature was right behind us. Shena and Mikey got in the church.

"Ready," said Dustin. Before I could say anything, he dove and dragged me with him. We past the door and I knew we were safe. I heard a sizzle as one of the creatures fried behind us. I smiled, knowing that we're safe, but I couldn't hold it for long. The creatures stalked outside finding a way in, but they knew they couldn't get past the church. Shena and Mikey grabbed the door handles and shut the door.

"Nice job guys," said Dustin. They smiled.

"We got them," said Shena.

"Oh, yeah," said Mikey. I sat and thought about everything I just experience in the last hour.

"That was a Soul Catcher, wasn't it," I said. They all gave looks at each other and Shena nodded. "My time is running out." I stood to move, but Dustin kept me down.

"You need to rest." I gave him a look, but I didn't refuse. As we all settled down I looked back at my hand. I have four days the most, before I'm dead for real. I looked at Dustin and his group. They seem so hyped up from the action. I smiled, but I knew I had to reach my home town fast and very soon. I gazed outside and sadness drown me. I missed everything I had, but the only way I was going to get it back was making it back to my body. Then Dustin sat beside me. He gave me smiled that I couldn't help, but smile back. We both were silent, which was okay with me. He knew I just been through a lot today. Time seemed to be slow, but then my eyes started to get heavy and I slowly put my head on Dustin shoulder. I lie there for a long time, until I was sound asleep.
