It was just the little things he did.
From stage to the big screen I've watched him grow.

I can remember that conversation like it was yesterday.

He's at the Golden Globes nominated for Best Lead Actor In A Film.
Damn, I couldn't be prouder.

I turn around and smile at him. He looked so handsome.
"This is really happening." He sighs contently not breaking eye contact.
"Yeah it is." I state.
We were on opposite sides of the room just staring at each other.
It was like we couldn't get the right words to say.
He was so happy.
I was just full of pride.
