"Well, I'd better go find my mom" Allison said. "But I'm hoping that I'll see you around Calvin." She winked at him as she walked away.
Calvin looked at Meg and saw the look on her face.
"You okay?" He asked. Meg smiled and nodded.
He wasn't sure whether she was telling the truth, but before he could question her, she kissed him again.

"Ooh! Meg has a boyfriend!" They heard a few minutes later. They looked around and saw Megs family stood in the doorway.
"Meg we gotta go" her mom smiled. "We'll wait outside so you can say goodbye."
Meg turned to him. "I gotta go but I promise I'll come here straight after school tomorrow and I won't leave until I have to but for now go to sleep you look tired." she whispered. "Here, take this" she said, taking a silver necklace from around her neck and placed it in his hand. "So even when im not here you have a part of me with you." She kissed him on the forehead one last time before she got up, waved goodbye and left.
And as he closed his eyes after she left, thoughts of her flooded his head. And it didn't take long for him to fall asleep, Megs silver heart necklace still tightly enclosed in his palm.

Not long after, he was woken up by someone tapping him on the forehead. "Wake up sleepyhead" he heard a familiar voice giggle. But as he woke up more and more, he realised that it wasn't Meg sat next to him as he hoped, but Allison.
"Great. You're finally awake!" She said happily. Calvin, still sleepy, didn't reply. "I brought you some something to eat" Allison said putting a tray on his knee. Calvin checked the clock. 11:57 it read.

Allison sat next to him as he ate that morning. She barely spoke, she just watched him. And when he was finished, she finally spoke. "So what's the sitch with you and Meg?" She asked.
Calvin sighed. "Honestly, I wish I knew. She's absolutely great, but she's so complicated. I don't think she quite knows how she feels about me yet".

---Allison---

She had never been more relieved. They weren't together! But she needed to play it cool, pretend like it was just an ordinary conversation.
"Well maybe she hasn't had much of a chance to  figure it out" she reasoned. "How long have you been talking to her?"
"Well I've liked her for a while. And then yesterday as I was walking through a neighbourhood I saw her and her brother so I talked to her" he replied.
Allison was surprised. They'd only been talking a day and he was already kissing her? Maybe her odds were better than she thought...
She moved her chair closer and placed her hand near his. "So you've known her a day and you're already basically her boyfriend." She moved her hand closer. They were nearly touching now.
But Calvin didn't seem to notice. He just seemed happy to have someone to talk to.
They talked for hours and Calvin still didn't seem to realise that Allison was basically holding his hand.
Nor did he realise that the clock now read 3:26, and meg would be here soon.
But Allison did, and she was determined to stay until meg arrived.
"So do you believe in attraction at first sight knowing how long it took you to get close to Meg?".
Calvin shrugged. "I guess".
Allison looked out of the window and saw meg coming towards the room. And quicker than lightning, her lips were on his.
She watched out of the corner of her eye as Meg walked through the door happily, took one look at them, turned and ran, trying to hold back the tears.
