Meg and Calvin Return

Part 10

Every night that week, Meg stayed late at the park just so she could see Jonah and talk to him. She felt Calvin moving further from her mind each time Jonah shifted closer to her on the bench. Why worry about a boy who didn't notice her when there was one right near her that did? Meg had never felt happier.

And then everything changed again.
Quicker than it had before.

She sat on the bench one night waiting for Jonah, and a smile spread across her face. But it soon dropped. "What's wrong?" She asked. Jonah sighed. "My mom just told me we're moving away for her job". Meg felt her heart break. She inwardly made a decision to never let herself fall for a boy again.
"When are you leaving?" She said, looking at her lap. "2 days" she heard him whisper.
She blinked back the tears. "But, hey" he said, lifting up her chin to look at him. She felt the tears brimming in her eyes again, but before she could think, she felt his lips on hers. And even though she was nearly lost in the moment, she thought she had heard someone taking a picture...

---Calvin---

He had been sat lying on his bed texting when he opened a message from his cousin, then one from Jonah not long after. First, he opened the text from Veronica.

V: Dude!!
C: Whats up V?
V: Have you seen that picture going around on Facebook??
C: No, why?
V: Check. Right now.

Confused, he clicked out and opened Jonahs message.

J: Im sorry

Well that's not helping with the confusion, he thought to himself. So, he opened up his Facebook. And his jaw dropped.
Because on his screen was a picture of Jonah and Meg sat on a bench, and Jonahs face close to Megs like he was kissing her...
He felt rage boil under his skin. It took every muscle he had to stay on the bed and not cycle his bike all the way to Jonahs so he could beat the crap outta him. He couldn't tell if he was mad at Meg, because as much as he liked her, he knew he wouldn't tell her.
He clicked open his messages to Veronica.

V: That bitch kissed your best friend!

Calvin didn't have the strength inside him to say otherwise.

C: I guess...
V: Shes probably acting out because her dads still missing and the attentions dying away.
C: I don't wanna talk about this anymore.
C: Just promise you'll leave meg alone?

It said read 11:42. No reply.
Then he FaceTimed Jonah. And the second he answered, the anger boiled up more and more.
"What the hell?!" He shouted at his 'friend'.
"You know that I like her, and yet now I find out you've been seeing her behind my back and now you kissed her!"
He saw Jonah tense up with anger. "Yeah, well, you're the one who didn't make a move and do something about the cute girl we stared at every day. So yeah, I kissed her. But she didn't stop me." A short silence filled the space before Jonah spoke again. "Im moving away for a bit and I'll be back in 2 years. Lets see if you've done anything about the Meg Murray situation when I get back. Until then, im done with you" he said, before hanging up the call.

I finally got a chance to write!
I know, I know, this chapter is really bad. I rolled my eyes 10 times during the proof read!
Im gonna start uploading these every Saturday
now, so there'll definitely be some more often than there have been.
