I wasn't exactly smiling at Laurent to begin with, but since earlier today I've been in a good mood. Actually since three days ago when I became Larry's girl. Yet, Laurent was staring at me, made me want to be angry too.

The water that separated us began thinner and thinner as he floated closer to me. He didn't say anything to me directly yet, but I could tell he wasn't happy.

"You stupid as hell, you know that?" He rebuked me, his eyebrows knitted together.

"Huh?"

"You and Larry won't last a month." He chuckled dryly. His look was different this time— long twist that past the shoulders, and wet caramel skin which glistened in the sun.

"Can you shut the hell up? You can't tell me what to do. He cares for me." I pointed at my chest.  I was trying so hard not to focus on his appearance, which was slightly distracting.

He rolled his eyes. "I'm not telling you to do nothing. I'm giving you advice, Moe."

"With your jealous ass? No way. You probably stopped by his place to see us." I then planted my finger in the center of his chest.

He gently grabs it and pulls it off. "You talk loud on the phone," He paused. "But I'm not jealous. I don't want my brother's sloppy seconds."

I huffed, my chest sinking. "Don't get it twisted, okay? I'm not— you think I'm a hoe or some stupid shit like that?"

"You said it."

I rasped,"Why you call me over here anyway?"crossing my arms over my chest.

"I didn't call you, you ran over here yourself. I just looked at you." He splashed the water around us lightly. "I came to enjoy myself at the beach, not to be bothered by my brother's girlfriend."

Instead of hitting him, I splashed water in his face began swimming back to shore but he reaches for bikini, tugging at top part which gave me a wedgie on the down low, and before I knew it I was back where I came from.

"Chill out," I whine, annoyed. I swear, one minute he wants to bash my life decisions and the other he wants to flirt.

He held his hands up in defense. "Hey, I didn't touch her," he lied, looking past me with a sly smile. I turn in the water to see Lola with her mouth agape in awe.

I couldn't help but panic, and scurried out of the water. I look at her and smile awkwardly.

"That guy looks just like Larry." She informs me, like it's something new. Well to her, it is.

I sigh. "That's his twin."

"Oh! That makes sense," She smiles. "Should we go tell him?"

"No, it's fine. Don't tell him," I pleaded her. She nodded quickly after.

As began to walk together through the sand she looked over at me briefly. "Why can't I tell him?"

I don't know where my sister found her, but she is curious as hell. "I don't think they're on good terms."

Lola nods, seeming like she's understanding. Though I am slightly annoyed, she doesn't know the situation and how the questions asking is sort of pushing it. I let it go though, she knows no better.

Though I knew better. I don't know why suddenly I'm beginning to drool over Laurent's appearance and flirt with while I have Larry to myself who is just as fine as Laurent. It's like my mind forgot that I was just angry at Laurent a few days back because of his attempt to manipulate me verbally and sexually. Two polar opposites are attracting me, I'll admit. I just don't understand why now. And why? One has kind, caring intentions and the other is a peeping Tom with a filthy mouth.

As we reach to the bar, I see my sister, who seems tipsy talking to Larry, who is completely sober.

I walk over to the open chair and sit next to Larry as the music seemed to get louder. He turned around in his seat, only to raised an eyebrow at me, confused.

"You had to get in the water to find a shell?" He asked, noticing my wet hair and bathing suit. My eyes widen as the looked past him at Lola, who was paying no attention.

"It was floating away," I shrugged. "I didn't even get it, I lost it once a big wave hit. It's long story." The stools were close enough for me to lean my head on his shoulder.

He nodded. "Okay bébé." He kissed me on my forehead.

"I think Aria had one too many drinks," Lola comments as she picks her up in her arms. My sister is a petite girl and Lola is actually a average height and solid girl and made picking her up look like a breeze. "And by that I mean she only had three." It seems as if my she's the sleepy drunk, and just falls straight asleep. At least my sister is old enough to drink. Now to control the intake.

"I mean damn I just got here but I wasn't going to drink anyway." I shrugged.

Lola laughed. "Look who suggested it," she gestured towards her. She began to walk off with her still resting in her arms. Me and Larry hopped down our stools and Larry threw some money down on the bar table without a thought in mind.

I storm slightly ahead of Larry, jogging a bit to bother my sleeping little sister. Suddenly I get pulled back by my arm only to have Larry's lips reach my ear.

"Not to be rude, but you have a really nice ass." He whispered, his voice lower than usual.

I leaned away from him and began to laugh as I blushed. "So I've been told."

He smiled at me extra hard for a moment. I didn't think much of it.

I just rolled my eyes as we continued walking along the beach. I looked to where I left Laurent in the water as we passed. I held in my smirk when I saw him still there, looking at me. I shook my head and continued on.

"You saw something?" Larry asked, putting his arm over my shoulders.

"Nothing, I just miss my shell."

"Trust me, you'll find another one that looks just like it." He tried cheering me up over the shell that never existed. His oblivious ways almost frightened me.

The irony and metaphors that had perfectly correlated to my situation I almost burst into laughter.
