And there we both were, running back to where ever he lives. This was almost as if God were telling me I should work more because we ran nonstop and I was out of breath. It was probably because I finished that whole cup of coffee before we finished our short break and drank no water afterwards.

"Wait," I began to pant, placing my my hands on me knees, hunched over gasping for air. Larry came to a stop.

"I thought you said you run?" He looks at me confused.

I nodded. "I never said I was a sprinter Larry. Can we take another break?" I ask, still out of breath. I stood up and looked at him, exhausted.

And not a drip of sweat was on his forehead. "No.. but we can do this," he took his book bag off, giving it to me to place on my back. He then turned around and crouched. "Jump. I'll carry you."

"I'm heavier than I look."

"I don't care, get on I might be skinny but I am not weak." He huffed.

With hesitation, I hopped on his back. He pushed me up on him and he bust into a light jog. I can't lie and say I wasn't enjoying this.

"We not far," He says as we turn down a corner where condos had been stacked up on top of each other in a sleek manner.

"A condo? Nice." I commented looking around as we began to head towards one of them. I could feel him pick up the speed, yet I was surprised I wasn't falling off. His harsh grip on my thighs probably might make me sore, but it doesn't matter as long as I don't fall off.

Finally, we arrived. He struggled to pull his keys out of his pocket but refused to let me down after I had attempted to slip out of his grip. He unlocked the door, then let me down. In awe I look around the condo.

Honestly, if I would've known that this was around when I moved here I would've invested in it

Honestly, if I would've known that this was around when I moved here I would've invested in it. But who knows how much it would cost. This is a small town after all.

"Damn. This is amazing." I said as I broke my neck looking at the opened windows, letting in the perfect sunlight light for this late morning.

"Thank you, belle. I just— my home is not what we came here for," He says before walking over and welcoming me to sit on his couch with him. I was surprised that I did not sink, but stayed well up on the couch.

"I didn't know this would happen but it did." He says, playing with the rings on his fingers. "I don't want to freak out or anything. Just promise me you'll believe this is the first time this has happened since we met."

Confused, I look at him. I parted his hands from fiddling with each other to get his eye contact. "I have a twin brother. That wasn't me. I'm not lying. We look the same, but he didn't give himself away?"
