The drive wasn't too long. I got to Aria's place in no more that 45 minutes. I walked up two stories to get to her apartment.

I knocked on the door, waiting no longer than three seconds. She wasted no time letting me in, sitting me down on her couch. It was sort of dark in here so I reached to turn on the lamp that stood next to the couch.

My heart broke at the sight of my baby sister's tear stained face.

"Ar, what's up?" I ask, turning to face her. She takes a deep breath. She grabs a bag of chips but I stop her real quick. "I rather you not talk with your mouth full."

She throws the bag out of sight. Aria intertwines her fingers, setting them in her lap. "So like I never suspected anything of Lola. I met her through Larry actually."

I couldn't help but scoff at the mention of him. "Go on," I said.

"She was cool and everything. Very caring and nice to me, she'd.. do me right. If you catch my drift. Overall it was a pretty equal relationship. But Lola would hardly ever be in the house. She was very busy," she paused for a moment sniffing.

"Busy she was." I commented, she looked at me.

"Wait you know?"

"Know what exactly?"

"Larry and—"

"Yes," I countered. "I caught them last night."

I stopped there but my sister looked at me confused, as if she wanted to hear more. I shook my head though. "Sis this isn't about me, I came to comfort you. We can get to that later."

A look of relief swept over her. "Well that was huge part of why I was so pressed. I didn't know that you knew but then again we're talking about you,"She laughed. "No seriously, let's talk. Fuck Lola, she ruined everything."

"She was just the icing to the cake in my situation. Larry thought I slept with his brother, Laurent." I shrugged.

Her mouth dropped open in surprise. "Who told him that?"

"Laurent." Everything in this moment was coming back to me, bittersweet. I know what he did but I'm beginning not to care as much because of how I'm beginning to feel.

"Moe. Did this— wait a minute. Larry believed him?" She leaned closer to me on he couch.

"He believed me over his twin he couldn't stand in the first place. I guess the fact that he couldn't stand him made it believable for him to do that." I shifted on the couch, I threw my head back for a moment.

I looked back over at my sister, who was still confused. "Wait, so you were there when he said this to him?" I nodded, crossing my arms. "So what the fuck? Cause I know you were saying you didn't do it. Bullshit." I just shrugged.

She stood up and walked over where she had through her bag of chips. Aria opens them sitting back next to me on her couch. "I know you dropped them quick, bitch asses." I stayed silent at that part. Aria caught on to the silence, and looked at me sideways.

"Right?"

I began to bite my nails, making myself look extra guilty. My sister then shook her head. "Why are you still with Larry? He's toxic and uses girls to get himself money and to get pleasure."

"Well--"

"Honestly," She interrupts me. "I understand if his dick game is strong, specially if he be getting you're legs all wobbly."

I shake my head, cringing thinking about him actually doing anything like that to me, not knowing where he's been. "No ma'am, that was uncalled for."

"Seriously, you know I don't judge Moe. We've all been there." She pats me on my shoulder but I shrug it off. Aria pulls her hand away, catching my vibe.

"I never said Larry." I commented, ending the sentence as fast as I could. She gasps, tapping my arm repeatedly.

She stands up crossing her arms in front of me. "Are trying to tell me you're with Laurent? So what he was saying wasn't a lie?" Her voice perks up.

"I'm not with him and he was lying. Lau tried but never happened." I waved my hands standing up in front of her. "I did not come here to be interrogated."

She shook her head in disappointment. "You can leave. But expect me to pop up because I would like to understand. I'm upset. Why do you always do this?"

I sighed. I began to walk towards her front door. "Bye." I shut the door behind me.

It made me upset that she always finds a way to make it about my situation. She my sister and all, but that's not all of her business.

I rushed my way back to my car, shutting the door and sighing dramatically. Before turning on my car, I went to my contacts and press 'Laurent'.

I wait as his phone rings. Then he picks up, his voice rough and husky.

"Hello? You okay?" He asked. I could tell he had just woken up. It was around 4 pm, so not the best time to be taking a nap. I don't judge.

"Yea. I'm fine." A long pause was taken in between. "I actually don't know why I called you," I trailed off, sitting back in the driver's seat.

He cleared his throat. "Is your sister okay?"

"She'll be fine."

"That's not believable. Wha' happened?" He questions. One of my hands rests on the wheel.

"Nothing. Aria is still a little upset, that's all. She hates Larry as much as I do now." I shrug. I could hear him chuckled under his breath.

"Ah, okay." I could tell he didn't believe me, so I just gave up. "Come back safe. I won't be up, but I want you to be here when I wake up."

My lip turned up at the comment. "Uh-huh. Okay. See you later sleepy head."

"Mhm." He hummed, I then hung up with hesitation.

I place my phone in the cup holder as I grab my keys to start up the car.

After I buckle my seatbelt I hold my head up to see a guy walking into the apartment complex I just walked out of and to my sister's apartment. I didn't take a second look or think too hard about it.

I let her do whatever she needs to cope with her feelings. Even if it does mean she moves on quickly with another person. If only she'd let me do the same.

I pulled out of the parking space and was on my way home. I just needed a moment to breathe.
