I put one shoe on.I look at my feet.one more week with this stupid cast.I grabbed my car keys.I sat in my car.I can just skip school today.cuz j already left for work.I sighed.but then I have to listen to a big speech on how I shouldn't skip school.I ran my fingers through my black braids.facing tally at school or skipping school?I got a text from nova.

P:you are going be late,dee.

I forgot about nova.if I skipped then he will get worries.then I have to listen another speech.but I really don't want to face tally.i drove to school but I stay in my car until first period started.I walk to my first class.I said next nova.

"Why didn't you come to breakfast?"asked nova.I text him.

Dee:I never ate breakfast.so I sleep in for few minutes today.

He check his phone.he nodded.we doing an assignment when there was a knock on the door.the teacher open it.

"Name."said mr.logic.

"Talia but people call me tally."she smiled.

"Okay.take a seat."said mr.logic.he went back to his desk.I noticed the only empty seat was next to me.the world hates me!tally sat next to me.

"diamond?is that you?long time no see.or your case long time no speak."said tally.she laughed at her own joke.

"Excuse me but some people trying to work.can you shut up."said latto.she fake smiled at tally.

"I don't know how to shut up,mutey can teach me?"asked tally.

"And what is your name,cutie?"asked tally.she batted her eyes.great now she likes my um.what should call him?he ain't my boyfriend but we act like more than best friends.

"Dee's boyfriend."said nova.I wish!I look confused.latto raised an eyebrow.Tally laughed.she stop when she saw nova look.

"Yeah."said nova.

I glare at latto.she laughed.After class was over.me and nova walked to my next class.when niqo ran up to him.

"And you are crippled.this will be fun."said tally.she smirked.She punched in the gut.she sweep my foot.I fell on my behind.I hissed in pain.

"I had heard you scream in a couple months.let's see if I remember how I did it last time?"she said.my eyes widened.I still got this scar from last time.she pull out a lighter.I scooted away from her.

"You are crippled.you won't get far."then i whistled loudly.

"Why are you whistling for?"I whistled again.

"Stop whistling.you hurting my ears."she kick my legs.I stopped whistling.When Roscoe and nova showed up.
