he brought out cupcakes

a candle

and a lighter

I was confused

and so was Jeno

"I bought this for you earlier. But now, I'm going to celebrate this very special day."

while Jaehyun was preparing the cupcake

Jeno looked at me happily

i whispered, giggling

"So we're official now?"

he scrunched his nose

"Yup. Honestly I liked you even back then. But I had to keep my feelings in me, because I knew you had Jaemin."

I never knew this

"I contemplated for months whether or not to save you from the mess. And I decided yesterday. So here I am, and I'm glad I did."

trotting towards us gleefully

Jeno and I took the cupcake
