Joker suddenly perked up. His eyes were still bloodshot from mourning EDI, but Admiral Hackett's words almost made him jump with joy. The crew around him celebrated with tears and hollers while Liara and the others quickly ran towards the bridge.
"Where's Garrus?" Tali asked.
"He's still at the Commander's cabin. Someone tell him quick, before he loses his mind like I did."
The N7 hoodie that Garrus has been clutching for almost an hour fell to the floor as Liara tearfully told him the news.
"I knew it."
