Sophia

After a couple of minutes of crying, Chelsea fell asleep on the couch. Who knows how late she got back home. I, on the other hand was ready to feed Charlie to the sharks, who wouldn't even take him either. He's that disgusting. I walked out of her house, and closed the door making sure to lock it.

I started jogging over to my house, while plotting slow and painful deaths for Charlie.

Oh, was I pissed right now!

Once I got home in a matter of minutes I quickly walked inside and found my mom in the kitchen, barely making breakfast.

"Hey sweetie I mad-"

"Sorry mom! I have important business to take care of," I walked inside my room and quickly dialed Matt's number. I paced back and forth impatiently and several dings later someone finally picked up.

"What do you want?"

"Finally! Matt, I have an emergency come and pick me up now!"

I heard him yawn loudly, "What? It's ten in the morning and I'm busy."

"Busy doing what? Sleeping with girls? When exactly has that stopped me?"

"I don't always sleep with girls, you know," I heard a girl giggling in the background.

I raised an eyebrow even though he couldn't see me, "I thought you said and I quote, I don't always sleep with girls you know," I tried mimicking his voice but instead sounded more like Dark Vader.

I heard him sigh on the other end, "Okay, fine I'll pick you up in thirty minutes tops."

"Thirty minutes? Thirty. Minutes. Matt you live less than fifteen minutes away you bastard!"

He chuckled, "What can I say? Good looks come with a price."

"You piss me off."

"That's the plan," he replied, before hanging up.

Jerk.

After waiting for what seemed like forever I finally heard a car honking outside our driveway. I looked out my window and saw Matt staring at me, looking anything but amused. I made my way downstairs and opened the door.

"Bye mom!"

"Wait! Sophia where are you going?" she asked, wiping her hands on a piece of cloth.

"Going to Chelsea's with Matt." I lied. Well technically it wasn't a lie.

She raised an eyebrow suspiciously, "Why are you taking Matt's car? She lives three minutes away."

Oh crap. Think Sophia. "Uh he promised us food."

"I already made pancakes for you. All three of you can just eat here," she reasoned.

"Mom, you know I eat a lot. I'm probably gonna get home and eat again."

"Mm...alright then. If you don't eat though, I'll shove it down your throat for making me waste my time," she threatened.

I laughed nervously, "Sure mom. Anyways, I'm gonna go now, bye! Love you."

"Take care, sweetie. I love you too."

I nodded and hugged her quickly, "I shall!" I opened the door and walked out to our driveway.
