Jack's P.O.V.
Its been three or so days since (Y/n) was found injured, and she's been improving in her strength daily! On the other hand, she still hasn't gotten used to me. She still can't look at me in the eyes, and she seems to stutter when she talks to me. I also can't help but feel bad when I see her walk across the apartment without no help. I haven't been able to hold her, let alone touch her since when I met her, but I do try y best in making small ladders for her to use for tables, couches, and other things.
I sit in the living room and edit some of my videos on my laptop as something moves in the corner of my vision. I turn around and smile when I notice (Y/n) stand there and watch me. She seemed to like technology a lot and was always around when I messed with it. Other then when I'm recording, she seems to hide, apparently she doesn't like my yelling. I've been able to keep up with my health now that I had (Y/n) around. I would always eat when I feed her. Then again, I never really got the time to eat everything off of my plate.
I go back to my editing and sigh in relief as I post the video onto YouTube. Tons of likes and comments already spill in as I shut my laptop and lean back into the couch. I was too tired to look through them today.
"J-Jack?" (Y/n) mumbled, making me look her way.
"Whats up?" I ask.
She looks down at her feet and starts to blush even more. I couldn't help but awe at her as she looks back up at me with her (E/c) eyes.
"Can y-you tell me about the internet..." She asks.
I immediately smile as she squeaks and looks away, blushing.
"Sure, just telling you that YouTube has some weird videos." I laugh, going to the search bar.
(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
I couldn't help but giggle, watching all of the funny videos that Jack pulled up on what he called "YouTube". It was honestly one of the coolest things I have ever seen! There was a doorbell ringing when Jack looked up and groaned.
"Ugh, I forgot I had ordered things online! Give me a sec, I need to go get it real quick!" Jack groans, placing the laptop down to do what he needed to do.
I watch as he walks out of the living room, leaving me and the laptop alone. I look at the screen and smile, watching the last few seconds of the video of people failing. The videos also made it to where someone on the screen looked my exact height! I gently crawl down to the laptop and walk towards the screen, looking at the options. I stop to look at a video of a girl dancing and click on it. It took a few seconds for me to click it, but it finally came to.
I watch as the girl dances, she twirled around gracefully, making me smile in awe. I start to move around in circles right next to her, following her every move. I laugh and laugh, getting on my tip toes and jump. I trip over my own feet and fall onto my butt, quickly laughing it off.
I look up at the video again and have the feeling of someone watching me. I look up and notice Jack standing there, a small box in hand while smiling at me.
"I didn't know you could do ballet!" He cheered, making me blush.
"I-" I look down and blush, hearing him chuckle.
"It's okay, (Y/n)! No need to be shy!" He laughed.
Jack moves to the coffee table and gives me one of his happy looks. I stare at the small box curiously, wondering what he had in store.
"Ever since I found you, I ordered some small clothes online! I hope they fit, and sorry if they're not your style, I tried my best." Jack smiles, opening the box with a pocket knife.
He digs into the box and pulls out multiple bags of clothes, and surprisingly, they were all my size. I walk up to the clothes and examine them. There was so many clothes, I could wear a brand new outfits every day for a whole month!
"Where did you get these clothes?!" I ask, running around to look at all of the clothes.
"At one of the Tiny stores online. I mean, yeah, we can go into town to get some, but I didn't think that you would want to." Jack smiles.
"Oh, yeah..." I sigh.
"Speaking of, where did you come from whenever I found you, surely your family is worried sick?" Jack asked. He's been asking the same question since day one, and I was too emotional to tell him. I guess he deserves to know, I mean he's done all of this for me.
"My father, he- did things to me... My mother never really stood up for me, she would always stick by his side, and mainly because she didn't want to be hit herself... And my brother-" I stop and look down. I didn't even notice a tear running down my face before I felt Jacks finger wipe it away.
"-My brother is, dead... He died saving our family that didn't even deserve to be saved. He was crushed by the Giant that owned the house we borrowed from... They blamed me for his death and abandoned me in the woods... I-I thought that the abuse would end but it got worse! I was sold at a pet store, and this girl beat me if I didn't do what she said. It's not my fault! I didn't want to be there anyways, all I wanted to do is disappear off the face of the earth, just like everyone tells me too-" I was interrupted when Jack picked me up and hugged me against his cheek.
I froze and started to panic, but realized that Jack would never hurt me... He's not that Giant that killed my brother... He's not that girl that threw me... And he is certainly, not my father...
I hugged Jack back and smiled, feeling his warmth surround me. I couldn't help but smile as I felt the love that I haven't been able to feel since the last time I hugged my brother... Now that I think of it, Jack reminds me of Sage... Their smiles, their laugh, their personality, and most certainly how much they cared for me.
"It's okay, (Y/n), I will always be there for you." Jack smiles, raising me up to his face.
"Thanks." I blush, trying my best not to cry.
What he said next was the thing that made me start to ball my eyes out.
"Just remember that storms don't last forever..."
