"He's coming." She whisper yells
"I told you he'd want to come. When does his shift end?" I ask sitting down with her in the same place we were before
"His shift ends at 3:20, but he said that he'd ask to come out at 3 instead." She chews on her thumbnail nervously
"So that means he wants to hang out with you before the movie." I smile happy that she finally agreed to go out with someone
She's been single for over a year now and I always wanted to go on a group date with her specifically.
To: Kingg Paul
Come to the coffee shop on York. We're waiting for Abby's date to finish his shift.
I look up and Abby is smiling at me hugely.
"What?" I ask taking the last sip of my drink
"Just thinking about the term of dating. Like you and Paul. You guys are just so cute together. It looks like he would do anything for you. Olivia, he really does love you." she gets serious
I smile at the thought, but stay quiet while Abby continues.
"The way he looks at you. It's just so obvious. When you two are together, it's like the whole world doesn't exist. I could already tell you two will be together forever." she's almost in tears when she finishes her little speech
"Aww Abby, why are you crying?" I ask smiling
"Because I wasn't there for you at all. What kind of friend am I? We drifted off a lot and I just ignored it. It's just that after I met Leslie, I haven't been paying any attention to you. It wasn't all my fault though. It was also yours. Why haven't you called me? Oh god what am I saying? You did nothing wrong." She rants
I stop her before she could continue
"You're on your monthly aren't you?" I giggle getting up and sitting in the seat next to her
I give her a sideways hug and let her squeeze me as hard as she could
My phone vibrates on the table and lights up with a text from Paul.
"Go answer it, I'll text Leslie to meet us here." She wipes her eyes and takes out her phone
I sit back down in my seat and unlock my phone.
From: Kingg Paul
Ok I'll be there in 10 minutes. Love you Liv.
To: Kingg Paul
Love you too. Drive safely😊
I put my phone into my purse after that text and look up at Abby who is starring at me and smiling
"What?" I blush
"You're smiling." She smiles wider
"Shut up, I'm gonna be a tomato by the time Paul gets here. When's Leslie getting here?" I ask
"She said she'd be here in 15 minutes, but knowing her she'll most likely get here a lot sooner. She drives like a maniac!" Abby laughs
"Hey remember that time you crashed your moms car when you were 15?" I giggle
"Oh shut up, I was barely starting Drivers ED. I didn't know much." She defended herself
"It was a brand new car." I muse
"I still would've crashed it if it was old." she giggles
"Oh really-" I stop talking as I see Paul entering the shop
