34- Sick**

"I'll see you tomorrow I guess. Love you." Paul kisses my forehead before watching me go inside

"Love you too." I shut the door and go to the upstairs living room where everyone was sitting staring straight ahead

I go over and sit in between Emmett and Dad

Bella was here looking terribly scared with Edward looking dead. Really dead.

"What's going on?" I ask

"Alice. She saw a baby. We think Bella might be pregnant." Dad explains

"Okay. What's so bad about that?" I ask

"Well the baby could kill her. We don't think Bella is strong enough and it'll kill her." Jasper speaks up this time

I see Rosalie out of the corner of my eye looking glum with a sad look over her face.

"We're not positive if she's pregnant. There's still a possibility she's not." Mom puts in

"She's the only one who could." Edward mutters

I glare at him knowing how Rosalie must be feeling right now

He ignores me and suddenly his expression changes into one of remorse.

"What's wrong?" I ask

"Nothing. It's nothing." He chokes out when Alice gives him a look

Well something's obviously wrong, but what?

"I'll be right back." Edward says standing up

Bella is about to stand up too but he puts a hand on her shoulder and nudges her back down softly.

"No stay here, I'll be back soon." He said running out the house

Everyone just stares at the space he was last in; next to Bella. She's just sitting there not knowing what to do.

"Well I'm gonna go change. Rose?" I stand up and walk out the room with Rosalie following

"You know what? I think I'm gonna go help too." I hear Emmett stand up and come over to my room

I take my shoes off by my bed where Rose was sitting

"How do you feel about all this?" I ask

"I don't know, I'll get over it. I know I will we just all have to be there." Rose says before Emmett comes over to sit with us

"Maybe you two adopted? It's a great possibility." I shrug

"Maybe I don't know. That's why I shouldn't really think about it." She says leaning her head on Emmett's shoulder

"I'm gonna go rinse off. You two look for my clothes." I stand up and walk to the bathroom

I felt sorta sticky from last night and I didn't get a chance to wash off this morning.

I quickly just do a body shower and step back out to Emmett and Rose who gave me a light aqua colored Little Mermaid sweater shirt, a black pair of leggings, my black combat boots with silver studs on the heel and toe, my black knit slouchy beanie, and finally my black aviators.

Thanks guys I say grabbing the clothes and going to the closet in my robe.

I change into the clothes and thankfully, Rosalie put my underclothes into the sweater shirt for me to grab and Emmett not to see.

I walk out and hang my robe back into the bathroom. I then grab my comb to comb my hair

I comb it and Rosalie dries it to perfection while Emmett sits there flipping through the channels on my barely used flatscreen.

"Done. Let's go do your makeup." Rose says taking my hand and going over to my makeup drawers

She does my normal routine of mascara, eyeliner, pink lipstick, and a little blush.
We go back to the living room where Bella, Alice, and Jasper where sitting just staring at eachother.

We sit down and instead of sitting on the couch I sit on top of Rosalie. You know... because I could.

Bella is about to start talking about the baby. I know she is. So before she could I start talking.

"So what have you guys been up to?" I ask as Rosalie plays with my hair

"The game."
"Same"
"Well maybe I could teach you the piano today."

Were the only three answer I heard. Alice and Bella just stayed silent staring at eachother.

"Cool, when do we start." I ask looking back at Rose who I was sitting on

"Today at 5. Edward had to fix one of the piano keys first." She says

"Alright," I stand up from her lap and continue "I'm gonna go find Edward. I'll be right back."

"Okay, be careful." Rose softly says

I nod and go downstairs. I stop by dad's study to tell mom and dad where I'll be before leaving.

**two weeks later**

"C'mon Liv. You have to eat something." Rosalie begs

"I don't want to, I'm not hungry." I insist

"You haven't eaten in 2 days. You have to be hungry. If you don't, you'll get even more sick." She says

"I'm just not hungry. I don't want it." I close my eyes as another pain goes through me

I've been getting horrible pains every couple minutes and they hurt so bad. I haven't been able to eat or anything since they started.

"I think Carlise should check you. You could be really sick." Rose says with a worried tone

"I will. As soon as he gets back, I promise." I grunt bringing me knees up to my chest

They all had me sitting in the living room couch upstairs to keep an eye on me. Though everyone was downstairs trying to find things they think I'd like right now. I already told them I don't want anything though.

"Here take some more of this." Alice walks in and hands me two white pills and a glass of water

"Thanks." I swollow the pills and give back the cup

"I'll be back to check up on you soon." Alice says leaving the room

Rosalie looks at me sadly for a few seconds before walking out too

I close my eyes and lean back against the sofa

ugh why isn't Paul here

"He said he'd be here soon." I hear Edward from the kitchen

I sit back and try to relax but my phone starts ringing. It jerked my thoughts away from relaxing and alerted me by it's loud sound.

I lean forward and reach for my phone on the coffee table and I'm about to decline before I see that it's from dad.

"Hello." I answer

"Olivia. How are you honey?" I hear mom instead of dad

"I'm getting some pains but other than that it's not as bad." I respond sitting back again with the phone by my ear

"Well we're gonna be home in about 3 hours to do some tests. Just hold on and we'll be with you soon." Mom says before I hear the line start to get staticky

"Mom?" I say

"Sorry honey. We're going through some rough terrain I'll see you at home. Love you." I hear before the line goes dead

I sigh and lock my phone tossing it beside me on the leather couch. I lay down and pull the soft blanket closer to me before closing my eyes briefly.

I wasn't tired. Not at all, but suddenly I'm out like a light.
