Hard Times

I drifted off to sleep for a few hours but my slumber was interrupted when I heard a knock on my door.

"Hey Y/n it's Dark, let me in"

"(Groans) Be there in a sec"

I rolled out of bed and unlocked the door, allowing Dark to enter my bedroom. I honestly don't want to talk right now but I could use some company, I don't want to push away the only person i have right now. I sat down on my bed and waited for him to say something since he only comes to talk to me if he has a question or needs something but when he didn't say anything I decided to ask him why he was here.

"Dark, what do you want?"

"I was just checking on you, you seem upset, have you been crying? And what's up with Anti? He seems upset too"

"Yes I have been, and i don't know why he's upset"

"Why were you crying?"

"I don't know" I said on the verge of tears

"Hey don't cry it's gonna be okay" He said sitting down next to me and softly rubbing my back

"No it's n-not" I said now crying

"Well what's wrong?"

"I can't t-tell you"

"Well I mean technically you can but if you don't want to tell me that's fine"

"T-Thanks..."

"But if you ever need to talk i'm here for you"

"(Sniffles) I just c-can't talk about it right n-now"

"That's okay, I understand"

"T-Thanks for b-being here for me"

"That's what friends are for" He said smiling

He pulled me into a hug, still rubbing my back as I cried into his shoulder. It feels good to cry, it helps a lot but it only helps for a little while, maybe i should try and apologize to Anti.

"Wanna go downstairs and get something to eat?"

"S-sure"

I followed Dark downstairs and into the kitchen, I leaned on the counter as Dark scavenged the cupboards and fridge looking for something to eat but by the looks of it, he didn't find anything.

"(Sighs) Wanna order something?"

"Sure"

"Okay, I'll get Anti so we can decide what to eat"

"Uh... okay" I said nervously

Dark looked at me weirdly as he left the kitchen to find Anti, I doubt Anti is going to talk to me so how are we going to decide on something to eat if we can't cooperate? Dark soon came back with Anti and leaned on the counter next to me.

"So what should we have for dinner? any ideas?"

"Just order Chinese or Sushi, we all like that" Anti said seeming a bit aggravated

"Okay, but which one?" Dark asked

"You pick it doesn't matter" I said

"Okay I'll be right back, stay put" Dark said

"Okay"

Dark left the room and I was left there standing awkwardly with Anti, I don't know how things will play out and i'm honestly kind of scared, I want to apologize but I can't bring myself to do it, in a way i'm still mad at him, he always gets mad when I hang out with Dark.
