We Need To Hurry

An hour had passed and I still sat on the ground with Anti in my arms. He wasn't crying anymore but I could tell that he was still upset. I wish I understood what was going on, I have no idea why Anti's so upset. I didn't want to ask any questions though because I was afraid I'd make him cry again. I wiped his wet face with my thumbs, I've never seen him act like this. I decided that i would leave now so I could give him some space, but when I stood up he quickly grabbed my hand.

"Stay... I need your help"

"Help with what?" I asked in confusion.

"I need you to help me bring Dark back"

"But Dark's already here"

"No, he's not... This has happened before, but it was so hard to get him back..."

"Please explain to me how Dark's "gone" when he's upstairs."

"His body is here, yes, but his mind is not. The Dark you saw a little while ago is just an empty shell, that's not exactly Dark. Lucifer has a way of breaking people, he knows how to break Dark pretty well. Dark is trapped inside his body, he can't control himself as of this moment. I could lose him forever if I don't get him back soon. The last time this happened I barely got him back, I don't even remember how I did it."

"Oh, now I get it"

"Well, do you have any ideas on how to fix this?"

"I could try to talk to him."

"There's a very low probability of that working but go right ahead and try. I'll think of something in the meantime."

"Okay"

I went upstairs and quickly knocked on dark's door, hoping I'd be able to fix him. I stood there for a few minutes but the door never opened. Strange. I decided to just walk in and see if he was in there or not. I opened the door and I saw him standing by the window, staring out of it.

"Hey Dark, what's up?"

No answer.

"Uhm, how ya been? (Laughs nervously)"

No answer. I walked over to him, but he still didn't look at me, I've never been in this kind of situation before. I grabbed his shoulder and forced him to look at me, he wore a blank expression and his eyes seemed to be clouded over. What do I say to him? Now thinking about it, I don't think this is going to work. I don't think there's anything I could say to him to fix this, i could plead for him to come back but that seems useless, especially since Anti said dark isn't Dark right now. i'll do it anyway though.

"Dark, please talk to me, we miss you..."

No answer.

"Can you hear me? You can break free of this"

Again, no answer. Since I was getting nowhere i pulled him closer to me and I pressed my lips against his. he didn't kiss me back, I didn't expect him to. I pulled away and there was still no sign of emotion on his face. I sighed in disappointment and then left his room, this was a stupid idea. I returned to Anti downstairs, he was pacing the Living room floor.

"Did you think of anything?" I asked.

"Nope, I'm assuming it didn't work though?"

"Yeah, i should've known it wouldn't."

"Well, what can we do? We know Dark is in there somewhere, we just need to pull him out"

"I wish there was some way we could talk to him through his mind, if we could, that would make things a whole lot easier"

"That's it! You're a genius! Why haven't I thought of that?!"

"I am?"

"Let's make a machine that allows us to communicate with Dark through his mind!"
