Chapter 6

A/n:: I'm literally so happy rn because of how many reads this book is getting!! 1K guys! Thank you so much and I predict that there will be maybe around 5-6 chapters left. I hear Kali shout my name behind me. I'm going to Jane's city. Even if the lab is there. Something pulls me towards it. I want to be with the policeman Hopper, because he would take me in. If he cares about Jane, he will do the same for me.

I get on a bus and Jane sits right next to me. I cry as she takes me in her arms.
"Its okay, y/n. You are going to be safe with me." Although there is a tiny hesitation in her voice.
All throughout the hole ride, Jane told me about Hawkins. She told me everyone she knew- even the mouth-breathers. I understood and was able to comprehend so much stuff, because I have literally have never been able to fill my mind with something other then my abilities. She showed me everyone, too. We went into the Darkness and she pointed everyone out.
I know she likes Mike- - like a lot. She loves him. I want that too. I want to love someone and have them love me back- maybe even a little bit more. I did think that one boy stood out to me though. It was Will. I wish I was brave enough to spend a hole week in a parallel dimension that I created. I want to punch myself for that. Sticking poor, innocent -kinda cute- boys in there. I feel like he has that bond like I do with it. I even saw him in the Darkness by myself. Something terrible has happened and he is suffering. Every second I get closer, the more I want to see him.

When we got to Hawkins, we felt weird. I was drawn to something here. I don't know what is it. We immediately went to Will's house. There, surrounding us, there were monsters. Jane told me that they were Demogorgons, but mini versions. We both used our powers to ward them off. I accidentally transported one into the house window and it crashed. Oops. Way to make an impression, y/n!
We stood at the doorway and Jane used her powers to unlock the door. I stood behind her because no one knew me and probably would be weirded out. The door opened and we both walked in. I saw everyone and I knew everyone. They were lookin' at me weird though, and I understand that. I've never met any of these people, but I know them all. They were all there, in front of me. The people who would change my life forever. But there's one face missing...
Mike steps forward and looks at Jane like she's the last girl on earth (which melts my heart every time I watch it☺️). They look at each other and a tear comes down Mike's cheek as he smiles at her. Jane looks at him with relief and happiness because they haven't seen each other for a very long time. They step up to each other and hug. I smile as I see how they really do love each other like the people on those soap operas I used to watch. Mike and Jane both break apart and just look at each other. The stare weakens when the policeman asks her where she's been. They hug and Mike realizes that Hopper was keeping Jane hidden for the whole time. They go in another room to "talk" (or yell at each other).
Jane hugs everyone and I kind of just stay in the door way. I can hear Mike shouting at Hopper. Then, a woman comes up to me and says to Jane,
"And who is this Eleven?" I forgot that she still goes by Eleven.
"My sister."
The woman looks surprised and gives me a bear hug.
"I couldn't imagine what you've been through, dear."
"I'm 003. But I go by y/n, now."
"That's a lovely name, y/n. I can see that you to actually look a lot alike! Well, except for all those freckles on your nose!" She smiles a warm smile. In all my life, I've never seen someone with that kind of smile before. (Lol she's still smiling even though Bob just died😭)
Jane hugs all of her friends but skips the red haired one. I get introduced to all of them and hug them. Dustin does a weird thing with his mouth and Lucas just shakes his head. Lucas pulls the red haired one toward me and introduces her to me. Lucas just stares at her though. I can tell he likes her with just one look on his face. There is Jonathan, Nancy, and Steve. Steve has wild hair and I touch it. He laughs and sternly says stop. I giggle more as i just keep playing with it. Then there's Joyce who is so nice. But there is still someone missing...
"Can I see him?" Jane asks Joyce. I go with Jane and Joyce into the boys room. He lies on his bed peacefully in a hospital gown like my old one. We sit by his bed and Jane takes me into the Darkness. There, we see his past and realize that he has the connection like us. Only he's experiencing pain though the connection. I only experience a "dark side" where my mind wants to come and team up with the monster in the Upside Down. Its like the monster calls me and wants me to help him destroy. Destroy people. I don't tell this to Jane, however.
We snap back into Will's room. Jane and Joyce stand up to go out.
"Are you coming, y/n?" Joyce asks.
"No. Give me a minute."
They both walk out of the room and close the door behind them. I sit on the bed next to him and put my hand on the sleeping boys forehead.
"Its going to be alright." I say. "I'm gonna help you." I bend over and give him a small kiss on his forehead. Then, I lie down next to him, trying to figure out what to do next.
Jane's POV::
Joyce and I go out of Will's bedroom as y/n stays with him. I feel like y/n is attracted to him in some way. Whether its from the Upside Down, or its just natural. I don't know.
We go out to the dinning room and I see a paper on the table that says "CLOSE GATE".
"You've opened this 'gate' before, haven't you, Eleven?" Joyce says with the smallest hope. I look at her.
"Actually, y/n opened it. She was the one who made first contact. I just made it bigger."
Joyce nods.
"Do you think... if we got you two back there... you.. you guys could.. close it..?"

We all crowd by the dinning room table. Y/n and Will where still in Wills bedroom.
"Well, even if we do get in, that place is crowding with those dogs." Hopper says.
"DEMO-DOGS." Dustin says.
"That's not even important right now!"
"Sorry. I'm sorry."
I look up from the paper that I've been staring at this whole time.
"We can do it. Y/n and I."
"Your not hearing me." Hop says.
"I'm hearing you, we can do it."
"Even if they can, there's still another problem." Mike chimes in. "If the brain dies, the body dies. And if we are really right about it, I mean, if y/n and El closes the gate and kills the Mind Flayer, it kills part of the army as well."
Lucas joins, "and Will is apart of the army."
"So closing the gate will kill him." Mike concludes. I look over at Joyce who seems to be thinking. We all follow Joyce into Will's bedroom. I go in first and find y/n on the bed with Will. She looks at him and plays with the hair on his forehead. She quickly looks up when I enter and grabs his hand. Everyone comes in and Joyce looks over at the open window.
"'He likes it cold'. That's what Will kept saying to me. 'He likes it cold'." She walks over to the open window and slams it shut.
"We keep giving it what it wants!"
"If this is a virus... and if... if Will is the host... then we need to make the host inhabitable." Nancy says. "And if he likes it cold..." she glances at the window.
"We need to burn it out of him." Joyce finishes. Y/n looks up from Wills face and nods. Hopper wraps him in a blanket and Jonathan, Nancy, and Joyce will go to Hoppers cabin, somewhere where he doesn't know where he is at. Y/n goes out to the car with them and looks Jonathan straight in the eyes.
"Be careful and let me know when it is out of him." She says.
Jonathan nods and gets into the car with Will. Y/n just stands there. They back out and y/n still stands there.
I walk out into the cold night air and look up to find a silver moon. I place my hand on y/n's shoulder as they drive down the road.
"He will be safe, y/n. No need to worry." Y/n looks so scared as a tear falls down her face.
"Do you think you can do it with me?" I ask.
"Yes." She says. I turn around to face Mike.
