Darkness surrounds me once more as I see him. Will Byers. Lying on a bed strapped to it. He screams in help. I hear muffled screams from Joyce and Jonathan.
"Just leave it!!"
"MOM YOUR KILLING HIM!"
"LEAVE IT! Wait, Jonathan, Jonathan! His neck! His neck!"
Will starts to choke and scream. I go "inside" his body. The monster is almost out just a little more to go. I have to help him. I have to save him.
I turn his neck a deep black color to make a path for the monster to come out. He's [the monster] just too strong! Will breaks one of the ropes and Joyce grabs him.
"No! No!" She yells. The monster is almost out. But then it comes to Will's head again. He grabs Joyces neck and squeezes it, slowly killing her. She chokes. I can't help anymore. It's up to Will to break though...
"Y/n." Jane slightly shakes me back into reality. "Its ok. Will is going to make it." She must have saw me seeing Will. We continue down the long, dark hallway with monsters roaring in the distance. Hopper shines a flash light on a door.
"Stay here." He movs forward. He takes out a mirror to see the demo-dogs that are still in the room.
"All right." He whispers to himself. He moves forward with his gun ready. Then he lowers it as I come in the door. The dogs in the room leave for some reason. Jane follows me and we see the gate.
"Chief are you there? Chief, do you copy?!" I hear a muffled Jonathan ask through a Walkman. Hopper presses a button and says "Yeah, I copy."
Jonathan is panting on the other end. "Close it."
Hopper looks at the two of us. Jane grabs my hand and squeezes it. I come out of my "red" stage and turn back to normal. I sigh and am relieved.
Will made it.
The gate in front of us throbs with intensity. We step into an elevator and Hopper lowers it. Jane and I stand next to each other with our hands on the railing. She starts breathing hard and I grab her hand. I nod and we come to a stop. I then grab Hoppers hand and we form a line. He looks at the both of us and we let go of each others hands.

Jane raises her arm and opens her hand at the gate. Her hand starts to shake. The shadow monster's head appears and I get scared. It just stares at the two of us with intensity. Jane's eyes grow as well. She closes her eyes and I bring her in the Darkness. Its Kali.
"I want you to remember something from your past. Something that angers you." Kali says. "Now channel it." A flicker goes off and I see her past. She is being taken to the Dark Room where you go when you don't finish a job that Papa gave to you.
"Papa!" She screamed.
We clipped back. She channels it. The sides of the gate glow and move closed. She channels it for a couple of minutes. Then I start to hear some low growls. This is where I come in.
"Oh, shit!" Hopper yells as he points the flashlight to the wall filled with demo-dogs. He starts shooting at them and I bring my hand up. I start transporting them off the wall onto the floor 50 feet below. Hopper and I work as a team. I get the left side of the wall and he gets the right with his gun. Jane is still closing the gate. She is in the darkness once more to find some flashbacks.
Its Papa. "You have a wound, eleven and three. A terrible wound." I start to flashback to the first time I open the gate in the tank. I touch the monster and it screams at me. A crack in the wall starts to form. They take me out and put me in the Dark room. Papa looks at me and yells. "What have you done y/n?!!"
Then Eleven goes into the tank after me and tears the hole even bigger.
"The gate, Mike. I helped to open it." She says to Mike right after she saved his life.
Papa continues, "And its festering. And it will grow. Spread. Eventually... it will kill you."
We clip back and the monster seems to be reaching out to Eleven. She channels the fears and wounds into her fight. A large wall appears and blocks the monsters arm thats reaching toward us. Eleven has both arms on the wall and I start to levitate her for even more power. She screams so much. The arm goes back in with the help of me transporting some of it back in. The gate closes and we both fall to the floor with a thud.

I open my eyes so see all of the demo dogs falling from the walls. Hopper grabs the two of us and wraps us in a hug.
"You two did good. You did so good."
He says to the both of us.
