Everyone run. Dwight shouted as everyone scrambled to the exit as a hairy fiend clashed about through the house. All but three got out. Matt, meg, and Claudette. They were getting people out, including Bill. Then it cornered them. Claudette was the first to try to run but it snatched her in its big hand and crushed her ribs and tossed aside. Black tendrils came out from below and dragged her under. Meh tried helping but the thing swung at her, cutting her shoulder sending her to the floor. It walked heavily towards her and raised its arm to crush her too, but Matt ran over casting himself as a shield over meg. Their eyes met before a slash to Matt's back sent him into a wall. Meg got her senses back and ran to the exit glancing at Matts twitching body before exiting. Alone, Matt felt cold but knew it would hurt her. Feeling a small hand grab his back he turned to see...
