When you're 22 everything seems easy. You might have just graduated from school, got a job or started uni and the future is still far away. You didn't even think about tomorrow you wanted to make today count.
Death? Can wait. Sleeping? Only for the weak. You're at that age were clubbing is in, meeting friends, good food and drinks. You're no teen anymore but still not a real grown up. You'll always be young at heart. You can legally do anything you want.
But then again, this was the time to act like a grown up. You might need to move out, find an apartment - that you can actually afford - close to your work. You might need to make new friends and leave your old ones behind. You need to get a car or travel by bus every single day. Always in a rush to make it to work, a job you don't even like but it pays the horrendous bills.
Life was getting the better of you. Oh how you wished you could just stay home and nap all day. But no, you had responsibilities. Places to be, people to meet. You wanted to go back in time and enjoyed the days when you were little. The care-free days. The better days.
You might be 22 now, still young both in heart and actual life, but you will have a lot of weight on your shoulders and you need to learn how to live with that.
