Those are the moments you truly cherished. Laying next to your boyfriend and just cuddle. Doesn't have to be in a bed, could be a couch too or if it comes to it, the floor. As long as you were with him, you were happy. Especially if no one else was around and you truly had an hour or two just for yourself.
You let out a big sigh and moved closer to him, if that was even possible. Xavier chuckled at this.
"A bit closer and you climb into me", he said.
"Sorry for loving being so close to you", you gave back and smiled.
"It's nice to finally have some time for us", he agreed and gently rubbed your back.
"Who knows for how long this will last"
"Well I could stay like this forever", he admitted.
"Same. I love being with you. And I love you"
"I love you too, so much"
He gave you a little kiss on your head. Granted, he might look a bit scary - due to his size mostly - but he was such a cinnamon roll. Although just with you since you're his boyfriend and you deserved "all the love you could get".
"I never thought I could feel so much love", he said and brought you back to reality, "I always thought I was doomed to live alone."

"That's why I'm so happy to have you. You're my last thought at night and the first when I wake up. Makes life so much easier. I feel like I can survive anything because of you. Because of the thought of you. And I know no matter what happens you will be there for me. I really appreciate that (Y/N)".
"O-Of course", you stuttered at his sudden outburst of emotions.
You've never seen or heard him open up like that and the fact that he trusted you so much to do so really warmed your heart.
"Thinking back ... I honestly thought I'd never find real love either. Yeah, I had a partner before but it just wasn't this, you know. I'm sure it was love, for a short time, but still love. However we just lived along each other and not with each other. It never felt like home but with you it does. I feel so save and strong at the same time when I'm with you. Like I could conquer the world", you said and giggled at the last bit.
"You certainly have the attitude for it", he teased.
"Oh do I really, mister?", you asked.
"Mhm. You'd make all the monster disappear with you bossy attitude"
"I'll give you bossy attitude", you laughed and got up to tickle him.
