A long deep sigh was everything that left your mouth after this day. Work was a mess, too many people, too much paperwork, too much stress. You just wanted to get to the lair, to your boyfriend, as soon as possible.
Xavier has been living in the lair for a while now and although they have some fights sometimes the do get along most of the time. He was currently working out with Raph when you arrived.
"Xavier?", you called.
Within seconds you could hear him coming down to greet you.
"Here!", he gave back.
You ran towards him and hugged him tight. He was much taller and buffer than you and you felt like he would completely cover you but you didn't care.
"Why are you here already? Though you wanted to go home and get something to eat?", he asked and kissed you gently.
"I'm not hungry", you said.
He took a long look at you. He was confused since you always love food, it was a close second behind loving him.
"What happened?", he wanted to know and pulled you to his room.
"Too much", you gave back and sat on the bed, "can we cuddle a little?"
"Sure. But do you want me to order a pizza first?", he smiled.
"Don't know", you said.
"Come on baby, I know you're hungry."
"Maybe a little", you grinned.
Damn he just knew you too well. You were indeed hungry but wanted to be with him first.
"Pizza it is then", he said and did a little happy dance.
You couldn't help but smile at your boyfriend: a huge, buff, dragon turtle, dancing around over pizza. He ordered two pizzas immediately and then put his whole attention to you again.
"Let's cuddle!", he exclaimed and jump onto the bed.
He wrapped his arm around you and pulled you closer. Your head was laying on his chest, hearing his heartbeat and feeling him breathe. You slowly relaxed and felt like all the bad that happened throughout out the day was disappearing.
"I love you", you whispered.
"I love you too sweetheart", Xavier said and kissed your forehead.
