"I don't see why you cant? I showed you that because there are many different versions of this place besides the ones we have been showing you. All I know is that if something doesn't get done soon then things will go bad real quick. But the guy you are staying with? Well we think somewhere in his place is an entrance to this world. I think you should look into it. Just make sure they are people you can trust otherwise it will backfire on you," the older Ruby said.

I frown I don't really trust any of them including since I just met them and plus this is all too much for me to handle so how could they handle it themselves when I can barely handle it on my own? All of this was running through my head and before I knew it I wake up and I am looking up at Andy. He looks down at me and I see a frown on his face. Makes me wonder what I said in my sleep. I sit up and sigh. I want to tell him what I dreamt about but he would probably think I was crazy.

"Hey is everything alright?" he asked me. I don't say anything and I turn away pretending I was going back to sleep. At first I thought he was going to stay and try to get me to talk. But I felt my bed shift as the weight on it was moved. I hear him leave my room and the door close softly.

When I knew that he was gone that's when I sit up and think about the dream I had. But a lot of it didn't make sense to me. When the older Ruby showed me her world. It didn't explain why their world was falling apart. It just showed me that her father was a mega asshole. He was worse then my own dad.

But maybe she was trying to show me that I was wrong on what I thought about as their world. I thought it was just many versions of me but I was wrong. Maybe there are other different Rubies that just share my name. Maybe there are different people then just people with the same name as me.

Maybe the world really deflects our world. They have said that there could be worlds in mirrors that are opposite from ours. But I thought they were only legends and myths. You know not real? But legends and myths do come from actual truth and fact. Before I realized it I was falling back to sleep and I had a different dream this time.

*The Dream*

I was wondering around lost. Then I see someone I never wanted to see again. It was Angel she was right in front of me. I back myself into a corner trying to get away from her. I didnt realize I hit a dead end till I felt a wall against my back. Angel comes towards me with a smile on her face.

Finally she is in front of me and I hear myself whimper in fear. "Thought you would never see me again did you? I told you I would make your life a living hell. I meant what I said. Do you actually believe that people would like you for you?" She asked me.

I could see her sneer at me and as she does her teeth fall out and clatter to the floor. Pretty soon her face starts to fall off. All the skin, muscles, and tissues falling off as well till there was nothing but a skeleton in front of me. I wake up with a scream sitting up.

*The dream ends*

I hear someone running down the hall and my door gets slammed opened to reveal Andy standing there. He saw how terrified I was and rushes to my side throwing his arms around me. I don't even protest I clutch onto him and starts to cry. I feel Andy's arms wrap around me pulling me close.

He starts to rock us and after I cry myself dry he stops and cups my chin lifting my face to his. "What happened? Did someone break in? Or did you have a really bad dream?" He asked me. "N-no one broke in it was just a bad dream is all. I am fine now sorry for waking you," I said.

I pull away from him and I sit up hugging my legs to my chest. "Do you want to talk about it on what you dreamed about?" He asked me. I shake my head no I didn't want to talk about it. I think about Angel and what she did to me.

I feel myself being pulled into the memory of how I met Angel. It was 2 years ago when I first met her that was the time where my family and I were still on good terms. My dad took me with him to a friend he hangs out with a lot.

My dad's friend had a daughter around my age and he wanted me to meet her. I was eager to make a friend then so it was exciting to meet someone around my own age. At the neighborhood my family lives in. As my dad pulls into their drive way my dad's friend and his daughter were outside waiting for us.

I looked at the girl and saw that she was wearing a khaki skirt and a blue blouse. With her hair mid-back pulled down. She had the warmest smile I thought at the time. I never realized till later that it was a front. I should have realized it from the start. But back then I didn't mistrust anyone.

My dad and I get out of the car and walks up to the sidewalk. My dad's friend walks towards us with a big smile on his face. My dad and him clap each other on the back in way of greeting then he looked down at me and smiled. "You must be Ruby your dad has told me a lot about you my names Tim," he said.

"Hello it's nice to meet you Tim," I said with a sweet smile on my face. He offers me his hand and I shake it. After we shake hands he looks over his shoulder and ushers his daughter with his hand to come over. She walks over and her smile gets bigger. Tim wraps his arm around his daughter pulling her to him.

"This is my daughter Angel. I'm sure you girls will get along great. My Angel is the sweetest girl you will ever meet," he said with a grin. Angel looks at me and offers me her hand. I take it and shakes hands with her. "Nice to meet you Angel my names Ruby," I said with a smile.

She let's go of my hand and her dad ushers us all inside so we could chat and get to know each other better. I'm the last one to come in. I looked around and saw that the place is a little bigger then our place. Her dad takes us to the living room where there are a few other adults sitting and chatting.

I look out the sliding glass door where there are other kids running around outside. I felt someone putting their hands on my shoulder and I looked up and saw that it was Angel. "Hey come up to my room and we could hang out with the older kids and none of these babies and boring adults," she said.

I nod my head and follow her upstairs where she leads me to where her room is at. When we get there I can hear people inside laughing and whispering and I can smell the faint smell of something different then cigarettes. When she opens the door and goes in leaving it open behind her so I could come in.

I now noticed that they were all smoking pot. I come in closing the door. Amazed that the adults downstairs don't smell it at all. Despite the fact that the window is open to blow in some air into the room. But the wind wasn't strong enough.

"Do you want to take a hit? It's some good shit," Angel said to me offering me the blunt.
