Ten was already seated in the cafe when Taeyong arrived. His ex looked up and smiled as he took a seat opposite.

"How are you?" Ten asks as Taeyong pulls the sleeves on his sweater down to cover the bites on his fingers.

"I'm fine." He keeps his answer short hoping Ten won't realise something is off and will just talk about himself.

Ten sighs and takes a sip of his glass of water.

A waitress comes over and the pair order drinks before the attention goes back to Ten.

"What did you need to talk about that you couldn't speak with Johnny?" Taeyong speaks with a bitter tone but Ten chooses to ignore it.

"You know my sister, Lisa-" Ten's voice begins to waver and he takes a deep breath to calm himself.

He smiles and looks up to meet Taeyong's gaze and his eyes begin to water.

"She is self harming again. The other night mom found three containers of pills in her room. Tae, I wanted to talk to you because you know her better then I do. You also know me better then Johnny does. I was thinking you might be able to help."

Taeyong feels a pain in his chest as he sees how upset his former lover is.

It still pains him to see Ten getting so upset.

"What do you want me to do? That is awful Ten, it really is but I don't understand how I can help."

"She doesn't know that we broke up" Ten mutters.

"She needs to know, Ten." Taeyong states the harsh reality and Ten nods slowly.

"I called to tell them that we had broken up. But mom was sounding distressed so I asked what was wrong and she told me about Lisa. Tae, you know how much she loves both of us. We have been the only stable things in her life and she knows she can depend on us when she wants to get away from Thailand. She may be better off thinking that we are still together."

"We can't act like we are Ten. I live with Yuta now and you are dating Johnny. What if she decides she wants to come and stay here? What would we do then? Honestly I don't think I could stomach living with you again, even if it was for her."

The drinks arrive and Taeyong takes a long sip of his iced americano. Ten begins to cry silently as he takes a sip of his own drink.

"Look, I can call her. I will tell her if you don't want to. I will tell her that I am still here for her and she can still contact me. Just because I'm not with you anymore doesn't mean we can't remain close."

Ten sighs and wipes his tears away with the end of his sleeve.

"Don't worry too much. She is like a sister to me. I won't let my sister die."

Taeyong reaches forward and places his hand on top of Ten's soothingly.

"Thanks Tae, Johnny doesn't know about this. I panicked when I first found out. I didn't know who else to contact."

The sleeve which covered Taeyong's hand was pulled away when he leaned across the table, revealing the red bite marks.

"T-Taeyong" Ten stutters as he notices. Before Taeyong can pull his hand back, Ten has grabbed it gently and is examining the marks.

"When did this start again?"

"Yesterday."

"There are a lot of marks. Tae is this because of me?" Ten drops Taeyong's hand and looks at him with a gaze filled with sorrow and worry.

Taeyong pulls his sleeve down once more and pulls his phone from his pocket. He holds it beneath the table as he opens Jaehyun's contact.

"What do you want me to say?" His voice is barely a whisper as he types a 'J' and presses send.

"Yes this is because of you Ten. You know I am not good at dealing with my emotions when things get hard. Yet you decided to sleep with someone in our bed and didn't even have the courtesy to do it on a night when you knew I wouldn't be coming home."

"I-I'm sorry. I am so sorry" Ten suddenly apologises, causing Taeyong to pause.

"I was stupid Tae. What I did was stupid. I am so sorry for causing you this much pain. Believe it or not but I still love you and it kills me to know that I've caused this to start again." He gestures to his ex's hands.

"Bull shit. You stopped loving me two months ago, when you let Johnny into our apartment." Taeyong refuses to believe Ten is being sincere.

"That night was a mistake. Yes I am with Johnny now but I don't feel for him as much as I do for you Taeyong." Ten slowly lifts his gaze to meet Taeyong's.

"I love you."

"I hope I am interrupting" Jaehyun smiles sarcastically as he gently grabs Taeyong's arm and pulls him out of his seat.

Taeyong doesn't have time to say goodbye to Ten as he is dragged out of the cafe.

Jaehyun pulls him past their work and into a small alleyway beside it where they are now alone.

"I didn't mean for you to take me out so dramatically" Taeyong winces as the grip on his arm tightens. The younger notices and lets go.

"How could I leave you to listen to that? As soon as I heard what he was saying I had to get you out of there Taeyong."

"What do you mean?" Taeyong feels slightly nervous as he sees the anger in Jaehyun's eyes as he looks at the older.

"I don't know how to say this" Jaehyun mutters beneath his breath, Taeyong only just hears him.

"Jaehyun, you're scaring me" he says, causing the look in Jaehyun's gaze to soften.

"Forgive me" The Dr apologises causing Taeyong to grow even more confused.

He goes to speak when suddenly Jaehyun leans down and presses his lips against his.
