Taeyong wakes to find himself alone in the bed. He immediately sits up and looks around the room to find it empty.

"Jae?" He calls out.

There is the sound of a glass shattering then hurried footsteps before the younger peers his head around the door

"You're awake" He smiles softly. Taeyong kicks off the blankets the and slowly walks over to him.

"Something broke" He states as he gently grabs Jaehyun's hand. The doctor wince and pulls away. That's when Taeyong looks to see he has cut his hand.

"You're hurt" Frowning, he gently takes him to the bathroom.

"You startled me when you called out and I dropped the glass. I tried to pick it up but I cut myself" Jaehyun explains softly as Taeyong makes him sit on the edge of the bath.

Taeyong grabs the first aid kit from beneath the sink and begins to clean the small cut.

It doesn't take him long to bandage it up. As soon as he has put away the first aid kit, Jaehyun stands and grabs his arm, pulling him into his chest.

"Thank you" He kisses Taeyong's forehead and the older feels as though he is going to melt.

"That'll be $20" he jokes and Jaehyun just chuckles under his breath as he goes to kiss the older but he ends up kissing the palm of Taeyong's hand.

He opens his eyes and stares at him in shock.

"Morning breath. I get really bad morning breath" Taeyong stutters as his cheeks grow red.

Jaehyun just smiles and gently grabs his hand, lowering it as he examines Taeyong's lips once more.

"And I have instant coffee breath." Before Taeyong has a chance to say anything else, Jaehyun kisses him.

It's about Lisa.

Taeyong reads his messages with a raised brow. Jaehyun notices as he continues to make breakfast for the pair.

"Who are they from?" He refers to the messages.

"Hm?" Taeyong is caught of guard but quickly realised what the younger has asked.

"Oh, it's Ten. He wants to meet at the cafe again. He says it is urgent and about Lisa."

"Lisa?" Jaehyun has never heard of this girl. Taeyong briefly explains how she is Ten's sister and they are really close. As well as how she isn't doing so well currently.

"You should go, I'll put your plate in the fridge and you can eat when you come back."

"Are you sure?" Taeyong hesitates to type a reply as he confirms with his boyfriend.

"As long as you are back within an hour I don't mind" Jaehyun smiles and Taeyong sighs as he types in his response.

I'll be there in 20.

Okay, thank you so much.

Turning off his phone, Taeyong walks over to Jaehyun and briefly kisses him goodbye before leaving the apartment.

He is the first to arrive at the cafe. He takes the table near the entrance so he can make a quick exit if he needs to.

"Hey" Ten greets him as he takes his seat opposite. He wears a loose grey sweater with a black cap. He takes the hat off once he is seated.
