A/N - for those who are confused my phone deleted chapter 18 so i've had to rewrite it as best as i could from memory of what happened. i'm so annoyed.

you don't have to reread this if you don't want to but yeah.

Taeyong couldn't help but feel nervous as Jaehyun helped him check that he had packed everything.

He was about to go to Thailand and pretend to be together with his ex-boyfriend whilst the one he loves waits back home for him.

Yuta arrived at the apartment, stating he wanted to bid his friend goodbye at the airport. He managed to place his bag into the taxi before Taeyong could see.

It came time to leave and Jaehyun offered to take the older's bags. He carried an extra bag to the car with him which caused Taeyong to look at him questionably but he didn't say anything.

The trip to the airport was filled with silence, but it was a comfortable silence.

Taeyong began to tremble as they walked into the the airport, his hand in Jaehyun's.

"It's going to be okay" The younger assures him and that makes Taeyong panic slightly.

"What if Johnny's here? I don't know if I'll be able to stay strong if I see him" The older speaks, rushes and panicked.

"I'll be beside you the entire time. I won't let him say or do anything to harm you." Jaehyun promises his boyfriend and Taeyong nods slowly, taking a shaky breath.

Yuta excuses himself to the bathroom once they've gone through security and Jaehyun and Taeyong head to the gate.

Taeyong sees Ten from a distance, seated as he reads a book. Then he sees Johnny is seated beside him with his arm resting on is upper thigh.

The older halts in his steps and Jaehyun wraps his arm around his shoulders, leaning down to whisper in his ear.

"Take a deep breath. Don't let him break you. Not here."

Ten notices the pair approaching and immediately stands, walking over to greet them. Johnny hesitates when he sees Taeyong but he follows his lover.

"I'm so glad you came Tae" Ten exclaims and Taeyong just mumbles a yes in response.

"Hi" Johnny greets awkwardly.

Taeyong glares at him and the tall man just kisses the top of Ten's head before bidding goodbye and leaves.

Soon they call for their plane to board and Taeyong suddenly feels an urge to drag Jaehyun onto the plane with him.

He doesn't want to leave him behind.

Yuta comes out and pulls his friend into his embrace first. He pulls away after a little bit and smiles sadly at him.

"Jae" Taeyong frowns and wraps his arms around Jaehyun. The younger holds onto him firmly, pulling away so he can kiss him.

After a few moments Ten gently taps Taeyong on the shoulder silently telling him to say goodbye.

"I love you" Taeyong states as he steps away from the doctor. "I love you too." Jaehyun waves at him as he walks with Ten onto the plane.

They have seats halfway down the plane. Taeyong takes the seat by the window so he can just look out it the whole time and ignore his ex.

"Should we—" Ten begins but Taeyong interrupts him.
"Don't bother."

The plane takes off and Taeyong pulls out his phone, plugging in his earphones.

He keeps his eyes focused or the window so he has no chance of having to talk with his ex.

Suddenly he feels someone remove his left earphone.
"Ten, what are you—" He stops when he sees that Ten is no longer seated beside him.

It's Jaehyun.

He has placed his earphone in his own ear and smiles.
"This is a great song."

"What are you doing here? Jaehyun, Korea is that way" Taeyong asks, pointing towards the back of the plane.

"Did you really think I was going to let you go alone? Yuta is coming too. He is seated at the front with Ten." The doctor explains and Taeyong is quick to kiss him.

"Where are you going to stay?" He questions him softly and Jaehyun just shrugs.

"Yuta got us into a hotel that is just down the road from Ten's house. That way I'll be there for whenever you need me."

Taeyong is shocked by the younger's explanation and moves in his seat, gently resting against his shoulder.

"Are you tired?" Jaehyun asks him and he hums in response. "Sleep."

The doctor gently wraps his arm around him and kisses the top of his head.

"I'll wake you when we arrive."

"But you'll be bored if I just sleep. It's a long flight" Taeyong objects but Jaehyun denies him.

"I don't care. You need to rest. As long as I'm holding you I won't be bored. I can watch you sleep. You're a cute sleeper."

"That's not creepy at all" Taeyong states and he can feel the vibrations as the younger chuckles.

Jaehyun continues to talk about the most random things until Taeyong eventually falls asleep leaning into his side.

A/N - for those who are reading this for the first time you are going to have to go back for chalter 19. i'm so frustrated that chalter 18 was deleted. again i'm sorry...
