Okay. New School Year's Resolutions'. It's crunch time.
Cold turkey on that one.
I actually half-hated the fact that my Aunt is a manager of a K-Pop rookie group, EXO-K. She and my mom are really close to each other. She was present in every important occasion in the whole eighteen years of my existence. Alam niya lahat about sakin except sa bestfriend ko nung nasa China pa kami. Si Mommy lang nakakalam about dun. First time ko silang makikita since they have just debuted. Kahit may dugong Koreana ako, I never really got interested in K-Pop. Ayaw pa kasi akong iparent ng temporary apartment! Nakakainis! Yes, I have been to Korea for how many times although sa China ako nag-aral. Except na lang for my Senior year kasi sa LA ko tinapos.
"The house you're going to stay at in Seoul is still under construction. It'll be finished for about three months," dad stated in English. Nagdidinner kami nun.
Edison Tan, my dad. Half-Chinese, half-American. He, together with my mom, manage a popular clothing company named 'Anonymous'.
"In line with that, you are going to stay at EXO-K's house. The group that your Aunt Chae Ha is managing. It's for us to be confident that you're okay in Seoul. DOn't worry. The CEO knows about this since he knows our family."
Seo Jin Kim-Tan, my mom. She's a full Korean. She's a well-known fashion designer. She usually designs almost all of the clothes produced by our company and we are sometimes the source of the clothes of SM Entertainment's artists that's why the CEO knows us.
Seriously?! Titira ako sa bahay nila?! Oo nga, idols sila. Pero pano pala pag iba sila on and off cam? Pano pala pag may perverted sides sila? In English, wild fans. Or worse, baka papatayin pa nila ako. Ganun naman sila eh. They try to invade their idols' private lives and spread their findings across the internet. Kung hate naman nila, gagawin nila ang lahat to make their lives miserable. That's how dangerous they are.
"Mom, dad, seriously?! You're going to pitchfork me into a bunch of guys?! Can't I just rent a temporary place while waiting for the house?!" I ejaculated in disagreement.
"We won't indulge complaints, young lady," dad furiously said.
I crossed my arms. "Okay. Fine," I answered, defeated.
"Pack your bags. You're leaving next week," mom reminded me.
Second resolution: As much as possible, I'll try to BE NICE TO THEM.
Okay. I'll be nice. But once they mess up with me, ewan ko na lang. Baka gagana na naman ang pagkabungangera ko. Mahirap kasing maging nice, eh.
