We drove to the store I'll be working. Jay (well, they told me to call her that.) was waiting in the door of her mini convenient store. Marge stop by the parking lot and she climbed down. Kristenn and I followed her. They hugged each other then marge introduced me.

"Jay, this is Venice, she came here last Monday from the Philippines."

"Hi! I'm Jay Tomlinson. Nice to meet you."

"Hi, I'm Venice. Nice to meet you too." I shake hands with her then she lead us inside.

"Okay, well, Venice, this is the inside of the store. Not really big, you won't be lost. You'll be alone for sometime while we find someone to be with you." She showed me around the small store and showed me how to operate things and how to do the inventory.

"And oh, if Harry and Louis went here to grab something, write it here." she showed me a notebook with labes on the side complete with the boys' names.

"They'll show it to you but will not pay. Especially Louis." she put her hand in her forehead. I smiled in the drama.

"Don't worry about it, love. I'll be the one who'll make them pay." Jay smiled at me.

"Can you start today? I'll watch after you, don't worry." I nodded once. Marge and Kristenn left the store once I got settled.

A few people came today. It stressed me out considering it's my first day. Jay helped me with the inventory but I did the math and everything.

"You are good in Math." she commented.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"But you're a little shy. You should spend time with the boys. You know, to build up your confidence." and like on cue, Louis entered the store.

"Hey mum!" he exclaimed. he met my eyes then I looked down.

"Oh I see, you have an employee now, huh?" he said. I can sense he's smiling.

"Yup. I want you to meet Venice. She'll help me here. Venice, Louis. Louis, Venice."

"Hi there! I'm Louis. Can call me Lou."

"Hi, I'm Venice" I said still looking down.

"Oh, what a shy foreigner! From where is she?"

"Philippines." I said.

"Oh, I've never been there. I heard it's beautiful" I nodded.

"You know what, I'll bring the lads here to meet you. You're too shy. We should shake you up a little." I looked up to see Jay and she gave me the I-told-you-so look. I nodded and I heard him chuckle.
