Monday afternoon, and Poppy was waiting at LuLu's school entrance. She didn't have much to do, and Lux was practicing magic with Janna again, so she volunteered.

The bell rang out, but it took several minutes. And by several, it was greater than seven minutes... LuLu came out, her head down and quiet. She definitely couldn't miss her. Not that many students had dark purple hair. Or were the size of a big dog. Nonetheless, Poppy made her way to LuLu.

"Hey LuLu"

"hey..." she kept her voice low.

It caught Poppy off guard. She wasn't usually this quiet as at home. It made her think...

The last time Poppy picked LuLu up was when Janna got sick. She had a test coming soon, too, so Poppy studied while picking LuLu up. Maybe she was like that then too...

"LuLu, anything wrong?"

"Poppy, did you ever felt different from your class?"

She took her time thinking after that. Was she being bullied? A bad thought, but Poppy didn't know enough to assume.

"hmm, well not really. I just didn't care about the other kids."

"ahh. well"

"Yeah?"

"oh, no. It's nothing."

It went silent after that, until Poppy decided to break it.

"So, how are you getting along with your classmates?"

"ah, well, we don't have much in common..."

"I see..."

"Oh, LuLu. Want some ice cream?"

"Ah! Yeah!"

Poppy smiled. That was all it took to get her happy again. So that's where they stopped off at. There was a local ice cream shop, 'Freljord Style, Traditional Ice Cream'. Inside was a bright cheery man who always gave LuLu a discount, so it went well.

They took some for themselves, and ordered some for Lux and Janna, and it really wasn't much of a scene. They occasionally talked about school, but it was relatively silent, not in a bad way.

But where this Act truly begins was the follow sequence starts. After walking out and into the neighborhood, LuLu paused. There was an entrance to a small forest of tree.

Poppy looked back, feeling LuLu's stop. And when she turned to what LuLu looked at, she understood why LuLu stopped.
