After a long coffee discussion, Janna worked out a plan for Lux to stay with her in the meantime. Things just worked out perfectly for her now.

Once they arrived, it got even better. The best way to describe the house was su-barbie-a. A cute suburban house with it's pallet and overall aesthetic reminiscent of Barbie... it was nice and refreshing compared to her old estate.

"Well, welcome to the house. Our neighborhood is relatively unproblematic. Your room might need to be redecorated to your liking, but it's semi-furnished."

"semi?" Lux tilted her head in slight confusion.

Janna pulled out the keys and turned back to answer that. "It was our guest room, so there is only really just a bed and a nightstand."

She swung open the door, and it was the most beautiful thing Lux could ever see. The sunlight illuminated the whole house in a nice orangish color. The agriculture sprinkled all around really set the tone perfectly.

"Lux, I'm going to get my daughter ready for school, do you mind?"

"Oh no! I don't want to interrupt your usual schedule, you can go."

Janna smiled, "well, get yourself situated."

And Lux did so, crashing down on the sofa. It felt so good to just relax there. She almost drifted off before a curious little voice woke her up.

"Mom, who's that?" LuLu, Janna's daughter peaked out through the living room entrance.

"Huh? Oh, hi! I'm Lux!" Lux got up from the couch to greet the little one, Janna smiling at the two.

"Come on, LuLu. You can talk after," Janna motioned for her to come over, and as LuLu held on to Janna's hand, she turned back to wave to Lux with a cute grin. She enjoyed living here, already.

After a little while, LuLu came back out to play, and get to know Lux more.

"So will she be living with us?" Her head bobbled back and forth in a playful manner.

"Yes. You can think of her... as your older sister, like Poppy," Janna replied, "ah, I forgot to mention. There is another girl living with us, she's Poppy, but she isn't here often."

"Ah, well I look forward to meeting her!"

Janna walked out with 2 bowls of cereal, "here you two, it's time to eat."

"Oh, thank you, but didn't you get one for yourself?" Lux asked curiously.

"Oh, no. I don't eat," a weird statement, yes, so Janna decided to clear up the confusion, "well, I don't need to eat. Just breathing is enough to keep me alive."

"Ah, interesting. I never knew anyone could live that way."

"It's definitely shocking, but that's what it's like to be an air avatar."

Lux kept it to herself, but she mouthed the word cool. She never knew anyone that wasn't human.

A bit later, Lux offered to wash the bowls as Janna went out to drop off LuLu for middle school. And in that time, Lux decided to just explore the room Janna gave her. It was very simple, but Lux had a few ideas on how to spruce it up a bit.

It was only 30 minutes until Janna came back, and once she arrived, Lux came over to talk.

"Hey, I don't mean to rush you, but what's the plan?" Lux

"The plan is I'm going to teach you magic."
