"What do you mean we don't have tickets!?" narinig kong sigaw ni Ina.

"Sorry, Ma'am. But I already double checked and your name is not on the list."

"Mother, what's wrong? Is there a problem with our tickets?"

"This bitch says your father didn't bought our tickets and there are no more available tickets for first class flights," sumbong sa 'kin ni Ina.

"Good day, Miss. My apologies for my mother's behavior. She's just really upset about this mix up. We are sure that my father made the reservation a week ago so can you check it again, please?" pakiusap ko sa babae.

"Ceres Devon Andrews is not really on the list," sagot niya makalipas ang tatlumpung segundo.

"How about mine? Hana Aurora Persephone Andrews?"

"Nope. Not here. I'm sorry, Miss."

"Is there any available first class or business class tickets for Japan flight today? We really need to arrive there this day."

"We don't have any slot in the first class or in the business class but we can offer you two plane tickets to Japan in the economy class," nakangiting tugon ng nasa counter.

"I can't be on an economy class!" my mother exclaimed at me as she felt I was about to accept the offer.

"When will be the next earliest flight where we can have tickets for first class flight to Japan?"

"There are open slots in the Japan flight ten days from now. Our airline is the only airline in the Philippines that has first class cabins. That's why the reservation for our flights in this class is always sold out early. We apologize if we could not give you an earlier flight than that I offered," magalang na tugon sa 'kin ng babae.

"That's too bad but we can't wait that long. We'll just take the two economy class tickets for today's flight."

"Thank you, Ma'am. Please give us your passport for the issuance of your tickets."

"Are you out of your mind? We can't ride in the economy class!" pabulong na reklamo sa 'kin ni Ina.

"We don't have much choice, mother. My class will start tomorrow. I don't want to miss any lesson since it's a new school. And besides, I know you won't be able to wait for ten days," pangungumbinsi ko sa kanya.

"You do have a point. I still have so much to do for your party next week. But an economy class?" I can see disgust on my mother's face. But after a few moments, she finally calmed down and just sighed. "Fine! I'll ride that plane's cramped cabin!"
