Aquarius hummed a song that his mother had taught him. It seemed appropriate, and the words were soothing to the soul.
Prince Henry had begun to stir, but not in a death-like way. He slowly opened his eyes to the sound of Aquarius' voice. Singing had always been a strong suit of his.
His teal hair dripped water over Henry's brow, and he reached upward to hold his face. They would have kissed then, but of course Aquarius' insecurity got the better of him. And he returned to the water.
Aquarius hid himself behind a large rock, that of course seemed to be oh so conveniently placed. His heart skipped beats, the thought of Henry's deep blue eyes reeled in his mind. The feeling of his toned arms beneath him. The hot breath beating down his back. Wait...
Turning in the hot air's direction, he looked right in death's face. The dragon.
"You" Aquarius spoke, though he probobly shouldn't have.
"You" the dragon said back.
Aquarius was shocked. More so by the fact that the dragon could speak English.
"So what now?" he said, but should have stopped. "You're going to kill me?"
The dragon's eyes were cold, a deep dark brown. Tiny flecks of red swerled through out them.
"Too easy" the dragon growled after what seemed like hours of staring.
With that, the dragon took to the sky. Where his disappeared from view. Finally Aquarius could exhale, and return home.
