Her fault

Just as (y/n) was about to stand, Betty walked in and grinned to Jug.

"Hey babe," She said. "I'm feeling a bit tired. Let's go home."

(y/n) drew in a sharp breath at 'babe'. She knew that'd soon be no more.  She excused herself and walked out of the room.

"Hey," (y/n) turned and saw Kevin. She waved and sighed.

"Let's get home." She turned to the school doors. Kevin nodded and walked out after she did.

It's been about a week since Betty and  Jughead and Betty broke it off. Betty hasn't come to school ever since.

And (y/n) couldn't help but to think this was all her fault.

She squeezed the pencil that was already tightly gripped in her hand, running her free hand through her hair.

Mr. John let the students have a free period to catch up on their work and such. But 9y/n) spent her time thinking about Friday night.

Sighing she let her eyes shut.
