"I came home..." I say sniffling as I sit on my knees between my parents."I've been staying with nana and pop for a bit but I have the money to move out. I don't want to be a bother and have them seeing their dead daughter when they look at me." I laugh a bit.
It's a sad one but it was a laugh.
"I got hurt momma."a sob escapes my lips as the memories flood through.
"I'm safe now, I came home. He won't find me." I say that hoping it's true.
"I saw Everest daddy. He's all grown up an-and i don't know who he is."
"Whenever I see him I know it's him but he's changed. I guess we all did." I scratch at my chest trying to breath.
Trying to get air and another loud sob escapes.
"I miss you and love you both so much." I lay the flowers on each of their Graves.
I stand up and whip my eyes sniffling and start to walk back to the truck.
I needed that, A good cry. I needed to take some of the pain away. The pain of everything.
I close my eyes and take a deep breath as the sky's tears rain down on me.
"Avery?" I snap my head towards the voice that called me.
"Bonnie?" I walk over to her under the tree.
"I saw you visited your parents." She says with a sweet smile.
"Who did you visit?" I ask and she looks down at the only grave by us. I read the name and instantly know who she's visiting.
A big smile forms on my face and I look up at her. "I think she was the funniest person I've ever met." I say and she laughs making me giggle.
"She was wasn't she." Once we calmed down we are in an awkward silence but it's a comfortable one.
Bonnie's older sister was amazing. She was beautiful and so nice and caring. She light up every room she walked in. Not one single person hated her. But god had different plans when he "blessed" her with cancer. Everyone was at her funeral even the Sons.
"I know it's rude but I couldn't help but hear your looking for a job?" I clear my throat.
Jeez did she hear everything I said. But I nod my head. "Yeah I don't want to be a burden to my grandparents." I say lookin down at my feet.
"We both know your not a burden to them Avery. Your their only granddaughter. You're all they have left." A tear slips down my face and she comes over and hugs me.
I wrapped my arms around her. "I heard through the grape vine that you got your nursing degree. " I let go of her and take a step back.
"Ya."
She steps back and look at me with confusion. "Believe it or not I do have a normal job outside of the club. I'm a secretary down at the ER. " I smirk.
"I might have to take you up on that offer." I say and tuck a piece of hair behind my ear.
We talked for a little bit longer and eventually parted our ways. I headed home and thought a lot about what I wanna do next.
So I get home and sit my grandparents down telling them that I plan on moving to my parents place.
"Hey dear are you okay?!" My nana says concerned.
"Yes I've just been thinking a lot about something and I wanna run it by you guys before I do anything..." I look at both of them as we sit across the table from them.
