Before I go barging in on others in the bedrooms, I go to the only bathroom that isn't attached to a bedroom, which is at the end of the hall. Maybe she just got sick and really need to let it out.
Finally, and luckily, for me, there was my beautiful best friend covered in puke passed out in the tub. "Brooke!?" I crouched down, kind of slightly smacking her face to wake her up. She made a groan but no attempt to move or even open her eyes. So I had to resort to the one thing I know would wake this girl up.
I turned the shower on all the way on cold she needed it anyways. "AHHHHH" she screams and jumps wide awake. "What the hell!!"
"Look you need to get yourself together here so we can get out of here. It's a mad house and I refuse to leave you here." I think I was more mad at the fact that if any rando walked in here and seen her like this, Lord knows what could've happened to her.
"I'm sorry Ava, what time even is it?" She says all concerning, with her eyes bloodshot red. "Look don't worry about any of that okay. Just finish showering. I'm gonna lock the door and go find you something you can put on."
I don't even let her respond before I'm already out of the door. I'm not 100% sure if Everest even has a room here anymore but I sure as hell know that Austin does. So, that's the first place I head.
No shock or surprise when the door is unlocked and swings wide open with Austin's ass on full display bending some blonde over. I think I'm to the point of sleep deprived and fed up with my life and surroundings right now that I just have no reaction.
I completely ignore everything that's going on behind me and they don't even notice that I'm in here right now so, I go to his closet where I grab a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie. A redhead walks out of the bathroom that's attached to the bedroom and looks stunned to see me rummaging through Austin's closet right now.
"Umm hunny, I think this chick is stealing your clothes?" Pointing at me as I'm gathering everything and high tailing out of there. "What.. what are yo.. Avery wtf. You good!?" he didn't yell at me in a 'what the fuck are you doing in my room right now' tone. It was more of like a concerning 'what's wrong that your in here right now' tone.
In all of his glory, he comes over to me, and I can't lie to say that my eyes immediately did not go down for a peek. I must say that these brothers have more in common than others may think. "I found Brooke passed out in the bathroom down the hall. She showering and I had to get her some clothes before I can get us out of here."
I walk over to the door to leave, but before I shut the door I look back at Austin and say "Thanks for you help by the way" in my most sarcastic tone.

Once I went back to the bathroom, I had to literally climb in the shower with Brooke to clean her off because she was standing under the water this whole whole time I was getting her clothes.
The grip I had on this girl was unreal where my knuckles were white because of how tight I was holding onto her. I was not letting her go out of my site for a second and I was watching every single person around me as I pushed and shoved my way out of this place.
The men out guarding the gate definitely did not give me a hard time this go around, and I walked us all the way down to the road. Finally getting to my truck, I throw her in the backseat and she instantly passes out like nothing happened.

"Come on Brooke you have to work with me. I can't carry you." Brooke is like this big gym rat right now where she goes for at least two hours every day and her thighs are like cinderblocks. I'm scrawny. I don't go to the gym and probably never will.
"Uhhh I'm never drinking again." She pleaded as she finally gets out of the truck and I help her into the house where I then let her fall onto the couch. "Ya well I'm sure you've said that a million times now, but look where we are." I say and look back at her. Knocked out cold, snoring with her mouth wide-open. I put a garbage can by here head and throw I blanket over her.
I feel dirty and gross between rubbing up again total strangers and cleaning Brooke up. So I just jump into the shower quick. God does the hot water feel good, each little pellet of water feels like a warm kiss. It's 3am and I'm over tired at this point.
I walk into my bed room finally ready to just hit the bed and be dead to the world.
But.
That's never the case.
Not for me atleast.
My eyes go wide as this large figure is just sitting on the edge of the bed holding his face with his hands. I was defiantly holding my breath, standing frozen in place until the figure lifts their head.
Everest.
I finally let out a breath of relief and I can feel my body instantly relax. He looks up at me, "are you okay?" He says with the most sadden concerned look on his face. Which then puts me in a state of confusion because nothing happened and we haven't even spoken in weeks.
"Yes Everest. Why would I not be okay?" I just walk around to the other side of the bed and get in. I really am past the point of care.
"Austin told me ya didn't look too good and about that fucker who put hands on you." I craw into bed and I gulf myself into the covers. "I'm fine." Is all I can manage to blurt out as my eyes finally shut.
"You are now I made sure of it. He ain't got no hand now. Didn't deserve em." My eyes shot open and I quickly spin my body around facing him.
I should just give up at this point on sleep.
"What are you talking about Sin!?" I practically hiss at him. He turns around all sloppy like. The second he opened up his mouth it smacked me in the face.
He's drunk.
"You're drunk." I blankly say and he looks up at me with these puppy dog eyes.
"I wouldn't let anyone hurt you. I'd kill for you." I just don't respond and roll back over in the bed facing the wall. Not even seconds later I hear him snoring and I close my eyes falling into the bliss of darkness.
