°Evan POV°

We walk out of the store, and to Craigs SUV, until Craig gets a notification from his phone.

"Shit..." He whispers, and (y/n) and I exchange worried glances.

"What wrong?" She steps towards him, concern in her small voice, and he looks at her, going quiet.

"He wants you to be home soon... and... try on the outfit..."

Her eyes widen, and she takes a step back.

"N-No... No! I-I can't-- I know what he wants! He..." Her voice cuts off and I pull her into my arms, her body trembling as she sobs into my chest.

"Its okay, (y/n), I won't let him hurt you like this..." I run my fingers through her hair, cooeing her and she attempts to calm down, her breathing ragged.

"I don't have a choice..." Her voice cracks with devastation, and the words hit me hard, making my body grow cold.

She told me that the first day we met...

Suddenly, hot anger rushes through me, and I pull away to cup her face in my hands.

She stares at me with pleading eyes, and it twists my heart.

"I'm gonna save you from all this... I'm gonna take you away from this hell..." I press my forehead to hers, and our lips are barely an inch apart.

"Evan..." She whimpers, and my body moves on its own, closing the space.

Our lips fit perfectly together, moving without sense, keeping perfect time and rhythm.
Its slow and eager and innocent and heated all at once and it leaves me dizzy and craving more.

All too soon, Craig clears his throat, disturbing he rhythm, and we finally part to breathe.

" (y/n), I was hired to protect you as well as be your chauffeur... but my hands are tied and if he decides to terminate my position, I don't know if I can still be there for you..."

(Y/n) furrows her eyebrows, and she steps away from me to approach Craig.

"W-What? What do you mean terminate? Did he threaten you?!" She covers her mouth and her eyes go wide.

"Yes... the day you came back from the supermarket..." He sighs, and I flush with embarrassment, rubbing the back of my neck.

"What? That makes no sense! He never hired you! You were hired under my family name, and he has no say because he's not family! You don't work for him," She pauses, and realization dawns on both of us. "Which means..." She trails off.

"He works for you." I murmur, smirking.

Her face lights up, and she smiles wide.

"I decide if you stay... because he doesn't have a say in it..." Craig smiles slowly, realization hitting him now.

"Because you're not married!" I rest a hand on her shoulder, and we both smile at Craig, who look relieved and excited all at once.

"So," (y/n) crosses her arms dramatically, " I say... that you stay." She giggles, and hugs Craig, who chuckles and hugs back.

"Craig..." I murmur, putting my hand on his shoulder.

"You can't take her home... you know what'll happen if you do..." He glances at me, concern written clear in his features and he nods.

"I shouldn't, but if I don't, he'll hurt her again, all I know is that I can at least fight him off if he tries to take advantage of her today..." He glances protectively at (y/n), and she looks down sadly.

"Evans right." She sighs, and I take her hand in mine, giving her a reassuring nod.

"I'll be there too. Not in the penthouse, but if something goes wrong, inneed to get to you. I'll have full contact with Craig, alright?" I tuck her hair behind her ear, and when she nods, I look to Craig, who nods as well.

We all get back into his car, and he takes us to the penthouse, parking and (y/n) takes a deep breath.

"I'll wait in the back, and wait to see if Craig needs me to come get you, okay?"

She nods, smiling gently, and her and Craig leave the car.

Please be okay...

°(Y/N) POV°

In the elevator, I hold one of Craigs hands in both of mine, and he squeezes my hands, giving me a soft kiss on my head.

"Remember, I'm right here for you. To can't back down, he'll just try and take advantage of you again. He can't hurt you either, especially since I'm going to stay here. If he does you have every right to call off the wedding." He gazes intently into my eyes, and I nod, releasing his hand before the doors open.

We both step out and Luke comes from his office, leaning against the doorway, staring at me hungrily.

"Welcome home kitten~"

I clear my throat, and take the bag from Craig, making my way to our bedroom and shutting the door behind me.

As I get undressed, I hear the door click open, making my heart jump.

"Luke, please. I'm not ready." I don't bother turning around, and I slip on the black stockings, and quickly pulling on the black onesie, blushing when I see the kitty ears.

I hear a snicker behind me and I'm turned around before I can protest.

"Let me see you..." Lukes dark eyes trail my body, and I swear I see him blush, but he turns away from me, and slowly leaves the room.

When he closes the door, I stand shocked, but immediately throw off the costume and get back into my regular clothes.

Thank god...

I shove the costume back into the bag and head out to see Craig scrolling through his phone by the elevator.

"Where are you going?" Luke stands with his arms crossed, raising a suspicious eyebrow.

My shyness creeps up, but I take a deep breath.

"Craig is going to take me to the park." I turn without another word, and Craig stares at me with wide eyes.

I bite my lip, smiling mischievously, and walk into the elevator.

"Craig. Keep an eye on her." Luke demands, and I pout, crossing my arms.

Craig stares blankly at Luke and I clear my throat.

"Craig, I would like for you to assist me. Please." I add quickly, and Craig turns to me, smiling and walking into the elevator with me.

I catch Lukes expression before the doors close, and it sends chills down my back, but I'm shake the creepy feeling.

He looked so... evil...

"You did good (y/n), I'm proud of you." Craigs voice breaks me from my trance and I look up at him, smiling shyly.

"Thanks."
