NOTEthe title of each new chapter may be a little confusing, so here it is: the POV (point of view) of the person will be first in the title of each new chapter, then it will be the word "chapter" (or in this case "prologue") and it's number in words. below that it will be the chapter number, then it will be the chapter name. it might be a bit confusing at first, but you'll get the hang of it! thank you once again for reading my story! enjoy! - loli

LOVE ISN'T SOMETHING I thought I would ever find, especially at the young age of nineteen. I was never looking either. I also never believed in fate, or finding your "soulmate." I never witnessed anything other than simple toleration of your partner because I never had parents that were madly in love. But when I met the criminal threatening everything I love, I never expected him to take an interest in me, especially because we were supposed to be business enemies. I was considered a relatively good girl because I'd never done anything wrong, underage drinking, drugs, getting into fights, nothing. Although I was a spitfire when I wanted to be one, nobody thought that was considered anything out of the ordinary, except for that one criminal that wouldn't leave me alone. No matter how much I thought I wanted him to exit my life forever, he stayed. A good girl and a criminal, not a good combination, or so I thought.
this is the first book that i am REALLY pleased with (the other book on my profile was something i made a year ago and didn't try very hard on, it's very cringy so please don't go and read it. i didn't know how to write properly then).
so in the spirit of being a try-hard, let me advertise myself a bit:
don't forget to...
