Chapter two. Earth Skills.

"I hate this" I muttered using the back of my hand to brush my forehead off of sweat and I patted the ground one last time with the shovel that Wells took from my hands after we finished burying the bodies of the two kids that had died. My hands started to shake and I waved it off. Wells and I finally started to make our way back as we heard guys laughing and saw a couple making out in the grass. I kicked the guys foot lightly.

"Get a tent" I muttered as we kept going and we reached the top. Seeing guys run around over each other. I didn't really have to dodge any since they all avoided me. I kept my bow close, especially when I keep seeing some of the criminals around me eye ball it.

"What are those" atom asked as he saw us carry shoes and clothes of the dead.

"Extra supplies" I noted and atom started to take Wells stuff and he snapped pushing atom.
I heard foot steps on the drop ship as Bellamy came out shirtless. I felt a blush reach my cheeks as I ran my eyes along his body seeing his abs and I took a small gulp as he said stuff to Wells that I wasn't paying attention to. My mind wandered back to a time on the Ark. Bellamy kissing me as my finger tips ran along his muscles and it was both our first time so we were nervous. We had knocked over a cup water and started laughing before continuing to kiss and love one another. He brushed his finger tips over my jawline just gazing down at me and I felt at the moment was the raw emotion between us. My mind slammed back into reality making me groan, then Roma came out from behind Bellamy and he put his arm around her. After he glanced at me he kissed her... I looked down not wanting to look at him any longer and I drop the stuff on the ground and started to walk off as kids started to scramble to get what I left behind. My chest hurt. I put a hand on my chest feeling it start to ache and my breathing get shallow. I walked far enough in the woods away from them all and I laid against a tree.

"I will not show emotion" I told myself and I smacked my chest.

"Hey" I look back to see Wells and I nodded while taking in a deep breathe.

"Hey" I said back softly. He leaned down and sat next to me.

"I saw how you acted back there.. what is it with you two?" He asked folding his arms across his legs.

"Nothing" I said not wanting to talk about it and I look up in the sky seeing the trees mostly cover it. He nudged me and raised his eyebrows.

"I know there is more to you guys" I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair.

"We used... to see each other" I glanced at wells whose face dropped a little.

"What happened?" He asked and I looked at the ground and grabbed some grass.

"He blames me for his mom being floated.. and for when Octavia was locked up" I said ripping the grass into pieces as the memories flash in my mind.

"Why would he blame you..?" He asked and I sighed once again feeling my chest ache once again.

"He thinks I tipped them off about the party that he took Octavia too since I was the only one that knew about her going to the party" I felt tears start to well up in my eyes and I swallowed the knot that formed in my throat. "Octavia though.. she knows I wouldn't do that to her, she is my best friend.. I'd take a bullet for her and Bellamy...they are all I have"

"What about your parents?" He asked but regretting knowing the answer. I looked at him.

"My mom died giving birth to me and my dad committed suicide a month later.. everyone tells me because he couldn't live without my Mom.." I could see the relief go through wells knowing they weren't floated.

"So why is it they call you angel of war and war demon?" I laughed and rubbed the back of my neck.

"You ask a lot of questions chancellor" I said and patted his shoulder as I stood up and stretched. "We should get ba-" in that moment screams went off in the air. I instantly made a run straight towards the screams. I saw Murphy holding a girl over the fire and I quickly ran to him and slammed my body into his as the girl got lose and ran and Murphy and I were both on the ground. I got up and so did Murphy.
