"this isn't right" Yoongi whispered to himself as he try to put beat on the lyrics he wrote the other day, Jungkook told him that they already changed the movie but he refused to go back, he'd rather do more productive things than lay on the couch, watching some stupid shows.

Although no matter how he tried, his mind is elsewhere, floating like a white feather, unpainted, colorless, nothing seem to inspire him as he looked at his quiet sanctuary, he knows it like the back of his hand, maybe what he needed was a place he doesn't know, something that would set his passion on fire, maybe what he needed was something he had never experienced, but time is too short, he doesn't have the leisure to try new things in amidst of their short break before another comeback

He let out a tired sigh, it's already 9pm and he needs to go down and at least heat the leftovers from lunch for his precious dongsaengs 'I'm sure they're hungry by now' he was about to stand up from his swivel chair when he heard his door open after a click, he locked it and the only one who knows the password of the Genius Lab is Jungkook since he always come and go, treating the studio as if it's his own room or something

After a second, the smell of teokbokki and kimchi fried rice filled the room, he then turned around and saw the maknae holding a tray of food "Taehyung and I heated the leftovers, Hobi-hyung and Jimin cleaned the living room and the kitchen" Jungkook said with a bunny smile, he couldn't help but smile too, this is one of the reasons why he's so soft for them, they're so thoughtful even if it's not that evident under their energetic fits "what are they doing?" he asked as he take the tray from the younger's hand "Jimin-hyung is taking a shower, Hobi-hyung is already done so he's probably at his studio right now, Taetae-hyung is playing overwatch on my computer" Yoongi hid a jealous look on his eyes, he bit his lip for a bit then changed his expression into a happy one, 'Taehyung's in his room' he thought, he's jealous because of how close the youngers' relationship are, while here he is sulking forever in his studio, mourning over his unrequited love, he couldn't even walk past the maknae's room without blushing like some kind of a hormonal teenager, he's far from how the youngest sees him, he's not cool at all

"thank you for this, make sure to turn off the air conditioner before leaving, the food might get cold" he smiled tightly then turned his head to his table

Jungkook tilted his head 'he's definitely not okay, who is he trying to fool?' he knows that his hyung's smile isn't genuine, he can see a little loneliness passing Yoongi's eyes before he tried to brush it off by smiling, he doesn't know why but he wants to console his hyung, so being the annoying maknae he is, he rested his chin on Yoongi's shoulder while looking at his hyung's face, studying every points of it, from his glowing skin, adorable eyes, button nose, pink lips, from the lightest wrinkles from smiling that isn't really that evident if you don't look close enough, to the beautiful scar that never left his hyung's ear, every bit part of Yoongi is beautiful and addicting, he knows it but he kept on denying his feelings

"what?" Yoongi asked, feeling the heat creep from his ears to his face, he knows he's blushing

"nothing" Jungkook said

he knows Yoongi wouldn't tell him what's wrong even if he asked, it would just make his hyung uncomfortable and even more secretive so just staying by his side is probably the best choice, at last, Yoongi chuckled, a genuine one, now he's relived "You're weird, if you want to stay then just say it, but I can't let you hear the beat yet, I don't like it" he smiled while nodding, he loves seeing his hyung smile, it makes him feel warm and soft and protective

"you're right, I want to stay" he murmured
