Chapter 9

Jimin and Yoongi arrived at their favorite Ice cream shop by walking, the younger always liked jogging and doing exercises while Yoongi need to think so they decided to just walk to their destination, it's 9pm and they just finished eating dinner

"two large black forest and chocolate mint please" after getting their ice creams, they sat outside the shop in its mini circular tables, it's dark and cold outside, they can hear the leaves dancing through the wind and the crickets in the trees makes it even more relaxing, this is what Yoongi needs and Jimin knows nothing will calm his hyung more than silence

"Jimin-ah, have you experienced loving someone so much it physically hurts you?" Jimin looked up at his hyung who's currently playing with his ice cream, our stingy hyung wouldn't just play with his food, this must really hurt for him

"I thought books was just exaggerating when they said heartbreak physically hurts in a sense, anyway I need to get over this soon, I don't like feeling pathetic, I'll get over this soon" Yoongi continued, nodding his head as if he's convincing himself that he'll move on, but he's not crying, he didn't cried a bit in this whole rejection process

"hyung, if you want to cry I'll offer you my shoulder, don't hold it in...please"

with Jimin's gentle voice Yoongi broke down, tears swelling up his eyes, because he's embarrassed of showing his weak self, he stood up but Jimin just hugged him, putting his head at the base of the younger's neck "there, I can't see you now, cry a lot hyung"

they stood outside the Ice cream shop for a couple of minutes until Yoongi has calmed down

"thanks, I didn't know crying will make me feel better"

"that's its sole purpose hyung, if you don't cry then you'll have to deal with that lump in your throat for the whole evening" Yoongi just chuckled

"you're still ugly, don't smile like that to me" Yoongi said, trying to hide his crimson face

"I know hyung" Jimin answered, smiling even further

Yoongi woke up with sore eyes from crying but feeling better than the night before, crying really helped him, Jimin's right but now he has to face the fact that he have a meal date with Hoseok and Jungkook and he know it'd be awkward as hell

as he walk into the kitchen, he smelled a sweet aroma of waffles and coffee making his empty tummy grumble

"hyung....I made you breakfast" Jungkook said, giving the a older an awkward smile

"just for me?"

"just for you, also, I can't go to our meal date and also...Hoseok hyung..." Jungkook looked at the floor, fidgeting making Yoongi sigh, he hates seeing Jungkook like this, he wants the maknae to be happy go lucky like he usually are, so he took a gulp and clapped his hands to make Jungkook raise his glance to him

"nah don't worry about it, I'll just go alone, I really want to try it, and don't give me that look, I already told you to forget about it and it makes me feel bad with you looking like a guilty puppy okay?" Yoongi gave him a reassuing smile

"okay hyung" the younger said returning a smile

this atmosphere is better Yoongi thought

"I'm going out, Taehyung, Jungkook, if you two are planning on leaving the dorm please lock the door and turn off everything"

"okay hyung, take care" Taehyung said giving him a box smile, he doesn't have a clue on what just happened, only Jimin, Jungkook and Yoongi, well it doesn't matter anyway, It'd be much embarrassing if any more find out about this but still, this feels sad wow

he arrived at the place where they sell "The best burger in Seoul" and was greeted by a very long line of people holding a number card

"wow...this line is so fucking long"

"i know right" he turned around and saw Jungkook's older brother, wait what?

"oh Jung-hyunie! what are you doing here?" Yoongi asked

"I came to taste the best burger in Seoul, just wait for me in that table hyung, what's yours? I'll just order it together with mine since I'm already in #10"

"just the same as yours, I don't know what's on the menu anyways, thanks kid"

"no prob" Jung-hyun just gave him a smile and looked at the front again, he's pretty close with Jungkook's older brother, despite being a 95'liner he's pretty mature for his age, they used to have small talks at the back stage when the guy visits his younger brother, but these days they don't see each other often because of their schedules, still Jung-hyun never fails to message him and well.... draw his epic pictures and post it on his IG, Yoongi just chuckled at the thought

After 15 mins. Jung-hyun arrived at their table with tray on his hands "wow, that looks appetizing" Yoongi said with his gummy smile "can't agree more, by the way, hyungnim why are you alone?"

Yoongi stilled at his question but regained his focus immediately "umm, Jungkook and Hoseok couldn't go so I went alone" Jung-hyun just nodded with this, they ate slowly, wallowed in their discussion and small jokes every now and then, they missed each other's company

"take care Junghyunie"

"you too Yoongi-hyung"

Yoongi arrived at the dorm with smile plastered on his face, he still feels that knot in his heart and stomach but at least it was lessen by Jung-hyun's jokes

"hyung you look happy" Hoseok pointed out, sitting on the couch with popcorn in his hand

"you're here"

"yeah I just got home too, how's the best burger in Seoul?"

"The best, anyway I'll be busy with our album from now on so please, no one is allowed to enter my lab"

"okay hyung"

When they heard the lab door closed, Taehyung leaned to Hoseok and asked his hyung something "hyung, I heard that the dance studio is fairly near that burger shop, why'd you not go in it to check up on Yoongi hyung? he must've been lonely"

"what do you think of me? a jerk? of course I checked up on him but he seems quite busy with Jung-hyun's company"

"my hyung?" Jungkook asked, why would my brother meet up with Yoongi-hyung?

"Yup, they were laughing in their own little world, so I just decided to leave them be" he said shrugging as if it's the most trivial thing ever

Jungkook bit his lip as he think of the reason of Yoongi and his brother meeting up, he's my brother, of course we have the same personality and tastes, what if he likes Yoongi-hyung too? wait why 'too', I don't even like him, or do I like him?... this is messing me up...

"calm your shit kookie, they're just friends I assure you" Taehyung whispered to the fidgeting maknae

"you sure?"

"are you perhaps jealous of your own brother?"

"No... I think"

"Jungkook, you need to sort your feelings out before Yoongi-hyung gets taken away from you, don't make the same mistake as I did" Jungkook looked at his hyung confused "same as yours?"

"forget that, I'll prepare a quiz for you to see if you really love Yoongi-hyung or not"

Guys!!! I don't know how old Jungkook's older bro is so I just made him the same age as Yoongi, but please if you know, inform me so that I can edit this chapter, thank you ^_^
