Chapter 3

The dorm is unusually quiet unlike any other day, probably because no bickering can be heard-Jin or Namjoon are always the ones who starts it-they all lay comfortably in front of a large TV screen whilst choosing a movie to watch

"Aish Hobi-hyung! You just keep on pacing back and forth on the categories but never actually choose anything, here let me choose" Taehyung grabbed the remote from Hoseok then smiled in victor, "I bet this would be great" Taehyung let out a grim laugh as he clicked on a movie that somewhat look like a horror one "Hey that's n-not even good, just pick another one" Hoseok stuttered in an anxious tone "Yeah just, let's just watch reruns or something" Jimin said supporting his hyung for he too is not really good with horror movies, Taehyung and Jungkook knew that so they just laughed, Yoongi didn't noticed what movie the younger chose for he was too busy observing his two dongsaengs who's currently laughing together right now 'they share almost all of their interests, they're so close, ahhh I kind of envy them' he thought

"Just say you're scared hyung, we'll never judge" Jungkook said, with his tone almost taunting "We're definitely not" Jimin and Hoseok opposed, so in the end, they have decided to watch the horror movie to act as a test of courage, also to fight boredom

Fifteen minutes through the movie and Hoseok's and Jimin's screams can already be heard, along with Jungkook's cheeky laugh, Yoongi too would be blabbing nonsense when he's surprised or scared which made Taehyung soft and all for his hyung's adorable gestures, 'i can't take it anymore' he thought and hugged his hyung "You ain't gonna make it up for me by hugging me right now, I hate you very much for choosing this" Yoongi gave him a try-hard glare but failed miserably, Taehyung just laughed

Yoongi just shook his head and glanced at Jungkook's side, there he noticed the irritated look on the maknae's eyes, looking at his waist that's being hugged by Taehyung 'oh, he's jealous of me because Taehyung is hugging me...right? Well of course that's right' he thought so he immediately got up from Taehyung's grasp and headed to the kitchen

He's lowkey envious of Taehyung, he thought that maybe the reason why Jungkook likes Taehyung is because they like the same things, the same games, same jokes, same anime, same music, same aesthetic, the list goes on, he envies that. The only interest they share is lamb skewers, just that, and it's not even Jungkook's favorite, he just influenced the maknae with it

Whilst contemplating about how he will move one with his feelings, he heard the kitchen door close which made him jump, he looked at it over his shoulder and remembered what Jin said 3 days before they left "Keep the kitchen door open because it can't be open from the inside" and apparently, their kitchen in sound proof, and so is all the other rooms in the dorm

"fuck" he said in frustration

Now he just have to wait for one member to come to the kitchen, but he will have to wait for a long time since the movie lasts for an hour and he's hella sure Jimin and Hoseok wouldn't be brave enough to get out of their position-they are sitting so close with each other and probably hugging out of fear-Taehyung and Jungkook would be too much into the movie so they'll probably not move an inch from where they sit on

"fuck fuck fuck" he admits he's quite the scaredy cat, he crouched in a little corner and hugged his knees, the kitchen is too quiet, the deafening silence is just making his situation worse, 'what if a lady in white suddenly crawl from the cupboard and take me' a childish thought crept in his mind, but right now he's in panic mode and nothing is childish anymore, he's this close to having a panic attack

On the other hand, Jungkook noticed that Yoongi's gone from his seat, he looked around and saw no one but Taehyung and the two scaredy cats 'weird' he thought because he knows that Yoongi would be too scared to stay in a place all alone after watching a horror movie

So he stood up and searched for his hyung, first the genius lab, then the bedrooms, the bathroom and lastly, the kitchen, there he saw his hyung sitting in a corner with his eyes closed tight, hands on his ears and muttering loudly, probably a prayer 'so he was locked' he thought letting out a relieved sigh, he then walked over to his hyung and hugged him tightly, if this was a normal day then Yoongi would be hesitant to hug him back but because of his panic attack, he immediately leaned to the Maknae and clung onto him as if his life depends on it, Jungkook thought it was cute and smiled a little, Yoongi's still trembling so he picked him up in bridal style "w-what are you doing?!" Yoongi asked, his hands gripped Jungkook's shirt tightly, too scared to fall

"carrying you?"

"why?"

"because I want to, and I need to" he then gave his hyung a bunny smile

"where are you bringing me?"

"to your oasis, to the genius lab, then I'll ask taetae-hyung to choose another movie to calm you down" he said along the way

"I'm okay now"

"I think not hyung"

"I'm heavy"

"you're definitely not, a 70kg man carrying a 59kg hyung is nothing" then he let out a chuckle

They arrived at the genius lab, the smell of fruits welcomed them "you still have the same air freshener? I thought you ran out of it"

"Joon bought me another one"

"hmm" he hummed, he's a little jealous of Namjoon because he's so close with Yoongi, and he knows probably everything about his favorite hyung

After placing Yoongi in his swivel chair he went downstairs to talk with Taehyung "hyung, can you choose another movie?"

"why? I thought you like it"

"umm Yoongi hyung" he whispered then gave his hyung a knowing look

"ahh of course, but he's so adorable when he's scared though" he said with a pout "hyung you shouldn't be hugging him every chance given" Jungkook said in a serious tone

"why? You said you don't like him right? So is there anything wrong with me hugging him? After all he's our favorite hyung, you can't have him by yourself since it's just 'admiration' you feel like you said" Taehyung mocked, that had Jungkook irritated, is there something wrong with wanting Yoongi's attention all by himself? 'I don't like him, it's just my personality to want to dominate everything' he convinced himself

"You know what, let's just watch reruns" Taehyung said which had Hoseok and Jimin jump in joy while Jungkook sat there thinking about what he really feels for his hyung.
