No other Love

6: 1st day of school

Jai's POV:

I head inside the house. And sat on the white couch. I put my feet up on the glass coffee table.

" No feet on the table, Jai" my mom says brushing my feet off. I rolled my eyes and went on my phone.

" You guys seem to get along" my mom says making tea.

" Yeah" I said ignoring what she said.

" You should catch a ride with her tomorrow, since your father and I can't drop you off" sipping her tea and sitting down. My eyes landed on hers and I give her a ' are you serious look'.

" Yes I'm serious Jai. You can't drive since your license is suspended for a week."

I laughed from the thought that happened." I'll walk over to her place" I said casually. I got up and head to my room. I set my phone on my king size bed and walked to my bathroom. I took a warm shower and dried off.

I grabbed my journal that reads ' Jai's lyrics' on the top. This journal is everything to me. I don't just show anyone these lyrics. I grabbed my pen and started to think what I'm feeling.I add some lyrics.

I couldn't figure out anymore lyrics ,so I set the journal aside. I glanced at the time and it's 8:54. I decided to go downstairs to my studio. I slid the door open and reveals and AC room filled with instruments, a recording machine etc. I walked inside and picked up the guitar. I sit on the stool and start to play the song 'born to be somebody'. I started to sing. I closed my eyes. I let my emotions show in the lyrics.

" this world will belong to meee" I sang the last lyric and opened my eyes. Behind the glass window I see my dad. I looked up and saw the recording light lit up." You recorded me?" I asked putting away the guitar." Yeah, you're amazing Jai" my dad said, wiping away tears. It's actually the first time I saw him cry." Thanks" I walked out and head to my room.

I was in bed. Staring at the ceiling. I'm not really use to people hearing me sing face to face. I lost confidence over time. My mom and dad always ask what happened but I couldn't tell them. I just kept it to my self. I turned my head and saw the time was 9:37. I sighed and closed my eyes. I slowly drifted off to sleep.

Amelia's POV:

We finally arrived at home. I was so tired I could just fall asleep on the floor. I lazily went upstairs to my bedroom. I slid open the bathroom door and took a warm shower. I dried off and slipped on PJs.

I braided my hair and crawled into bed. Before I slept I reached for my phone. I wanted to upload a picture on Instagram before I got to bed. As I open my camera roll I could see spam pictures of Jai. He made silly faces and took random photos of me. I giggled a bit. I uploaded a picture, taken by Jai. The caption reads: hm not a bad photographer.

I lay my phone on the night stand and when to sleep.

I woke up by sunlight flashing to my face.

" Wake up Amelia, first day of school" mom says opening the blinds some more.

" Take any car to school, I have to go work. I'll see you 7:30 okay?" She said closing the door without letting me have a word out. I shrugged and went inside the bathroom. I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I let my braid out and my hair was wavy. I was looking around for my makeup bag and realized I left it in my dance studio. I quickly took out an outfit. I wore a denim sleeve top, leggings, and leopard vans. I rolled up the sleeve a bit. I ran downstairs to my studio. I opened the light and saw my makeup bag. I did my everyday makeup look.

I took out an apple and orange juice out of the fridge. I ate in peace until I heard a buzz. I went to answer.

" Hello?" I said threw the system." Hey buzz me in its Jai" I raised an eyebrow and buzzed him in. I look through the window. He walked here, doesn't he drive. As we makes his way threw the steps I open the door." Hey, what you-" I got cut off.

" My mom said to come here since my parents couldn't drop me off. And I do have a license but it got suspended for a week" he said lazily like he repeated those same words to people. I nod, and motioned him inside." Time" I ask him heading upstairs to get my long strap bag." 7:45!" He shouts so I can hear. When he said the time I quickly got what I need." Follow me" walking towards the garage. Before I got any keys I saw his expression. He loves it. I opened the safe and choose the Porsche. I clicked the button and I climbed in as well as Jai.

" Nice cars. Didn't know you were into cars" he said amazed." There's a lot of things you don't know about me" I said heading out.
